Adaptation of Simba Raspicuim (En/ Es)

I am here to update you on the adaptation to the family of our new member, the kitten Simba Raspicuim. Since he arrived about two months ago, the routines have changed at home, the demand for attention by both kittens has been constant. At the beginning our cat Aurora, looked at him from far away and with some suspicion, but those were the first days, because little by little, they got closer and with Simba Raspicuim's daring personality, she has had no choice but to interact with him, because he is very demanding and more because from the beginning he saw her as his mother.

Aurora, at the beginning, was confused, especially when he tried to take her breast. This made her uneasy and she would walk away, looking at him in a strange way, ha, ha, ha, ha. But as the days passed, we noticed how she was accepting him, little by little, she also had to see that Simba Raspicuim, was very insistent in his approaches and she adopted him as a son, soon she began to groom him, to play with him and even to scold him, in her cat language, ha, ha, ha, ha, but without harming him in any way, that reassured us.

Simba Raspicuim has been copying some of Aurora's habits, such as getting into the laundry baskets; we have already caught them in those ways and as well as this habit, others; such as sleeping together. They also share their food, even though they both have their individual containers for this, we have seen them eating together; but what has called my attention the most, has been that Aurora in many occasions has given her food to Simba; like every mother; so that they both eat, we put their food in different places and so they both eat well.

With the rest of the family that has been an immediate connection, my children love both pets and quickly Simba Raspicuim has understood that and even takes advantage of that love, ha, ha, ha, ha. Now my husband has two cats, who love him and see him as their favorite human, as they both love to lay down and nap with him and my husband takes care of their space. It's one thing to tell them about it and another to see them in action, ha ha ha ha. As for me, I have one more "child" to raise, ha, ha, ha, ha, because I also notice that he sees me as if I were his mom, he loves to be near me or on top of me, he doesn't miss a chance to do it.

Apart from his awake and extremely lively personality, he makes us all be aware of his antics including Aurora, who watches him as if he were his mother, grooms him, cleans him and keeps him away from her tail ha, ha, ha, ha because he loves to nibble it, he is very tremendous and likes to play a lot. So this new member has been the ideal complement for everyone and the ideal companion for Aurora, who needed a playmate and mischief.

Paso por aquí, para ponerlos al tanto de la adaptación a la familia de nuestro nuevo integrante, el gatito Simba Raspicuim. Desde que llegó aproximadamente hace casi dos meses, las rutinas han cambiado en casa, la demanda de atención por ambos mininos ha sido constante. Al principio nuestra gata Aurora, lo miraba de lejos y con cierto recelo, pero fueron los primeros días, porque poco a poco, se fueron acercando y con la personalidad, osada de Simba Raspicuim a ella no le ha quedado más opción que interactuar con él, pues es muy demandante y más porque desde un inicio la vio como su mamá.

Aurora, al principio, se mostraba como confundida, sobre todo cuando él trataba de tomar pecho de ella. Esto la inquietaba y se alejaba viendolo extrañada, ja, ja, ja. Pero al pasar los días, fuimos notando como ella lo fue aceptando, poco a poco, también tuvo que ver que Simba Raspicuim, era muy insistente en sus acercamientos y ella lo adoptó como a un hijo, pronto empezó a acicalarlo a jugar con él e incluso a regañarlo, en su lenguaje gatuno ja, ja, ja, pero sin dañarlo de ninguna forma, eso nos tranquilizó.

Simba Raspicuim ha ido copiando algunas costumbres de Aurora, como el meterse dentro de las cestas de ropa; ya los hemos pillado en esas andadas y así como esta costumbre, otras; como el dormir juntos. También comparten su comida aunque a los dos le tenemos sus envases individuales para esto, los hemos visto comiendo juntos; pero lo que más ha llamado mi atención, ha sido que Aurora en muchas ocasiones le ha cedido su comida a Simba; como toda madre; entonces para que ambos coman les ponemos sus comidas en lugares distintos y así ambos comen bien.

Con el resto de la familia eso ha sido una conexión inmediata, mis hijos adoran a ambas mascotas y rápidamente Simba Raspicuim ha entendido eso e incluso se aprovecha de ese amor, ja, ja, ja. Ahora mi esposo tiene a dos gatos, que lo aman y lo ven como su humano favorito, pues a ambos les encanta acostarse a dormir la siesta con él y mi esposo les cuida su espacio. Una cosa es contárselo y otra verlos en acción, ja, ja, ja. En cuanto a mí, tengo a un "niño" más al cual criar, ja, ja, ja, porque también noto que me ve como si de su mamá se tratara, le encanta estar cerca de mí o encima, no pierde oportunidad para hacerlo.

Aparte de que su personalidad despierta y sumamente vivaz, hace que todos estemos pendiente de sus travesuras incluyendo a Aurora, quien lo vigila como si de su madre se tratara, lo acicala, lo limpia y lo mantiene lejos de su cola ja, ja, ja porque a este le encanta mordisqueársela, es muy tremendo le gusta mucho jugar. Así es que este nuevo integrante ha sido el complemento ideal para todos y la compañía idónea para Aurora, que necesitaba un compañero de juegos y travesuras.
