From bright light to dark shadows, from green leaves to to furry moss, there are all kinds of things to observe in the forest. There are many times I wish there were more animals around but even when there aren't, I find there is so much to observe and take in when in the middle of a forest. Its a calming experience to be surrounded by nature, not a city sound to be heard now a building to be seen.
