"No Commentary today", this is a special post where I'll tell you why I stopped playing Cyberpunk 2077. At first, I'd like to confirm that I didn't stop playing the game because it lacked something, I stopped playing it because I felt it a little hard at some point.
You should know how I am as a gamer before reading further. I love playing video games like every other game, but I'm among those gamers who like to play a video game not to challenge some difficulties but to enjoy some moments and appreciate the game world and the concept.
I normally quit playing games that look hard to me I tried Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice and Elden Ring which were visually awesome but I didn't need a lot of time to understand, they're not for me.
Now I'll show some of my last moments of playing Cyberpunk 2077 before saying what exactly made me quit playing this fantastic game.
Let me share some of the damn glitches that are still floating around the game. You should know this game is already famous for its early glitches and the game developers confirmed they worked on most of them but I see there are still some major glitches around though the glitches aren't the reason I stopped paying the game.
Btw, I enjoyed riding motorbikes in the night city. It felt so cool when I rode bikes on those clean roads with all the tall buildings around.
This looked like a church, a digital one where I had to wait for the night to end before going inside and interacting with somebody so I waited there and the night passed after a moment.
I went inside but it didn't look like a church anymore after getting in there. All those ray lights and the gathering was telling me it was some kind of a party. A man met me there and asked me to go out and find someone somewhere.
Look at this dude who was so relaxed there and was playing his guitar sitting on that big couch. He seemed lifeless but the dude looked cool to me.
This is the man I had to meet who was taking me to his office and I was following him like a puppy though he seemed like a gangster and I was thinking of getting into something big after this mission.
I went to his office and the dude probably gave me something for the job though I forgot as I played this part long back and that's Johnny behind the dude who's actually a ghost that only my V could see and interact with.
Now I had to meet some guys at the garage in front of the Night City Police Department but before meeting them, I went to check on the Ferris wheel there.
The people that I met with gave me further information about the job and about where I'd find my target so I went forward and I found some enemies that I took care of.
There I found these cool electric bikes and as a bike lover, I couldn't help but try to ride them so I took them out one by one and tried riding them for a moment.
After shooting down some more enemies, I went inside a mall area where I had to fight a lot more enemies. I had to be careful there as the enemies there were strong and probably well-trained.
There was this van where I found a device and I had to hack it for the job to get done. But after hacking it, my exit route was closed and I had to look for an alternative route.
Then I met this feller who acted like Thor holding the big hammer and I even noticed electricity around him that made him look more like Thor. Do you see "Turn Back" written there? I didn't write it down, it was there like it. The game itself was asking me to turn back and quit playing this game.
Fighting and winning against this dude felt impossible for me. After kept dying over and over, I decided to quit playing the game right away and I uninstalled the game right away.
So, that's the story of me quitting playing the visually stunning game.
