The tree of crows - watercolors and acrylics on paper
Hello all dear Hivers friends and welcome back to my blog. Today I am sharing a surrealist painting in which I used two painting techniques, acrylic and watercolor. I was inspired by a dream I had last night and of which I took some notes as Salavator Dali used to do to remind himself of the dreams he had and then transferred into paint. I dreamed of crows, an omen of death and connected to the transport of the soul in Western cultures, while for the Celts and American Indians it directly connects the soul to the gods. In the dream the crows were flying around a black tree in a landscape that was hostile at first life, but in the distance in the branches of the tree I saw a clear light, contact with God.
I don't think it was a nefarious dream because I woke up in a good mood and still decided to transfer it into painting.

L'albero dei corvi - acquarelli e acrilici su carta
Ciao a tutti cari amici Hivers e bentornati sul mio blog. Oggi condivido un dipinto surrelista nel quale ho usato due tecniche pittoriche, l'acrilico e l'acquarello. Mi sono ispirato ad un sogno che ho fatto la notte scorsa e del quale ho preso alcuni appunti come faceva Salavator Dalì per ricordarsi dei sogni che faceva e poi trasferiva in pittura. Ho sognato dei corvi, presagio di morte e collegato al trasporto dell'anima nelle culture occidentali, mentre per i celti e gli indiani di America esso collega direttamente l'anima agli dei. Nel sogno i corvi volavano intorno ad un albero nero in un paesaggio a prima vita ostile, ma in lontananza tra i rami dell'albero vedevo una luce chiara, il contatto con Dio.
Non credo che sia stato un sogno nefasto perchè mi sono svegliato di buon umore e comunque ho deciso di trasferirlo in pittura.
