Good morning fellow needleworkers,
Today I will be sharing with us one of my latest creations. A black tote bag. Recently, a dear friend of mine who has been a great supporter of my art and craft saw one of my crotchet bags and reached out to me to help her create three(3) tote bags. This order brought me so much joy and immediately I got to work. This particular bag is the first one she ordered for. The crochet pattern of the bag is quite beautiful and interesting to work on.
In this post, I will be taking you guys through the process of bringing this bag to life.
MATERIALS USED
- T shirt yarn
- A 6mm crotchet pin
- O-ring
- Bag anchor
PROCESS
- Firstly, I created a ring of 15 which served as a base unto which I created the entire bag base.
- Once the bag base is set, I started crotcheting rows on top of each other till I reached the desired height.
- Afterwards, I crotcheted the bag handle and I fixed to each ends the bag anchor.
- Finally, I fixed the O rings to the sides of the bag and attached the bag handle to it.
