Thursday Night Graffix... I gotta have it

You know, my favorite of the weekday nights is without a doubt ...Thursday night.

If you didn't know, Thursday Night ends on a Friday, and not only is it a close homonym to that dry adjective, thirsty, but is also the day lots of folks also get their paycheck.

That being the case, it's kind of a "no brainer" for folks to host Thursday night events at area bars and nightclubs.

For example, There is always something happening at the Jungle Room in Somerville, a venue I tend to frequent, but on this particular "Thursday Night Graffix" there was a cannabis related party happening as well,

    IMG_1631.jpeg

at Bud's Good and Provisions Cannabis over in Abington MA , and with Ideal cannabis and Dj Stenny on the wheels of steel,

    IMG_1287.jpeg

Ideal cannabis is exactly the kind of legal rec. cannabis that I like to purchase because it comes from small cannabis growers,

    IMG_1492.jpeg

who have been able to put together their business strong enough to endure the gauntlet that is dealing with the CanntControlCannabis folks

    IMG_1292.jpeg

As a matter of principal, I prefer my budds from buds and so over here at Buds G&P, I was in the right place for an Ideal cannabis experience.

Buds carries brands such as Insa, Hidden Hemlock, Pax, and Betty's Eddies.

Super DJ Stenny of Mary Palmer was in the house and brought a bunch of them digital mix tapes he’s become famous for.

Bud's has cannabis pre-rolls under 10 bucks, and eigths start at 25. They carry some of New England's top craft brands including Tower 3 and Harbor House. I always like to see what's new in the legal rec. shops. Here's what's going on at Bud's.

Bud's carries INSA's (indica sativa) line of award winning cannabis products. Insa is also involved in helping folks get their medical cards. Medical Cards cann be helpful if you tend to travel with edibles or concentrates or ever go to live free or high country.

Cannabis beverages are huge in places like Minnesota and there are many beverage options here in the Bay State trying to get a head of the curve, on the projected beverage market growth and so of course Bud's features cannabis infused beverages, care of "CANN".

    IMG_1308.jpeg

They also carry Lost Farm chews, which are not only twice as strong as other leading brands but also claim to be "Strain-specific, plant-based and infused with 100% live resin and solventless live rosin for a distinctively full spectrum, true-to-the-plant-high"

    IMG_1309.jpeg

Bud's also carries the very popular Betty's Eddies. Betty's is sort of the OG for "eddies" in MA. They use high quality ingredients and have products infused with known medicinal herbs and include blends of THC, CBDV, and CBG, passionflower, chamomile, and L-theanine, instead of hfcs and red #40.

As a rolling tray collector, I am considering this Keith Haring piece. It's great when shops do a good job curating the shop with everything including the ancillary stuff. I might be dating myself. I still hear Christmas in Hollis in my head when I see dude's doodle dudes. ....Time keeps on slippin'

Into the future, Buds is looking to establish them selves as a quality community oriented dispensary, and have done well building clientele, participating in cannabis culture, and of course outfitting their joint.

Boston(metro) is small, but has a lot of traffic, so if you try to drive from Abington to Cambridge during work hours it’ll take you two days but if you decide to go at night time it’s more than likely a 30 minute ride at best,

    IMG_1331.jpeg

especially when you have a cute little Italian girlfriend, driving like she thinks she's Indica Patrick, or something

    She don't "eph" around... anyway

Speaking of Joints, I had heard the legendary EDO G was performing at aforementioned Jungle Community Music Center in Somerville, and was coming with fresh Vinyls,

    IMG_1323.jpeg

along with a number of amazing performers, including the incomparable Big Brother Sadi

    IMG_1317.jpeg

and the lovely and talented Brandi Blaze

    IMG_1322.jpeg

just to name but a few. The Jungle room is always a good time, and Union Square has food pretty late including at the jungle's BBQ neighbor Wade.
