SHOULD WE BELIEVE OUR ANCESTORS (TOPIC REVIEW) Pt2.

With lesson learned from the previous episodes, the eyes of my understanding were enlightened, I realise more why we should rather believe in Jesus Christ as recorded in the book of Mattew 17:5

Meanwhile the three disciples who went with Jesus up to the mountain were rather fascinated when they saw Elijah and Moses and so wanted to build a tarbanacle for the three of them, when a voice out of the cloud spoke and said,

"THIS IS MY BELOVED SON IN WHOM I AM WELL PLEASED LISTEN"

what I grasp from that single scripture is that while the disciples were wowed seeing Moses and Elijah, GOD interrupted them, they should rather pay attention to His Son, not like Elijah and Moses weren't important or their legacy not important but the reality of the moment is they should listen to JESUS CHRIST, his son who he had sent to these time and dispensation.

According to Bro Eli...it's not like our ancestors tells lie or they're not to be trusted, just they might mislead us from the truth, towards a wrong path

Talking about wrong paths, those who worship idols, graven images or anything other than God were all mislead right from time past by their ancestors, because these believes were handed down from generation after generation to them, instead of finding the truth in God's son they were blinded by cultures and traditions of men,

The sad truth in these scriptures is that to those worshipping images, idols, in whatsoever format do this in ignorant believing they're doing it to God, not knowing they're laying aside the commandment of GOD and teaching the doctrine of men, sad ENOUGH some of these reality are even ripping into the church

Having turned away from the path designed by God to worship him in vain, churches now worship their pastor's with a doctrines of their own and not the doctrines and commandment of God.

These was the same thing the children of Israel exhibit after all they have witnessed by the power of God through Moses they still turned to worshipping idols, before MOSES returned from the mountain to recieve the ten commandments. In other words they turned back to the old ways of worshiping the Egyptians God's they knew, introduced to them by their ancestors , off course some of these ancestral believes arise as a means of protection, wealth, provisions safety.... Due to certain things going on at the time.

But as those times fades and are far gone let us turn to the only true God and his gracious gift to mankind by accepting his precious gift his son Jesus Christ who has come to abolish all of those ancestral idol WOSHIP and believes that are not the ways originally orchestrated by him, before times began.
