Hello everyone.😊 Sunday and relaxing day at home. And in this post, I take everyone to see the temples in Mae Ai District again on my wife and I's trip last week. My wife and I, we like to visit temples and nature. Our right now goal is that We have the same goal, which is to visit all the temples in the district where we live and nearby districts first. And I want to share the temple in my country with everyone too, If we have the opportunity to visit these temples. And I want everyone to see every thai temple. Even though some temples are small. This post is also another temple located in Mae Na Wang Subdistrict, Mae Ai District, Chiang Mai Province. This temple is called Wat Champakao.

    Brief information about Wat Champakao.

Before I take everyone to see the beautiful of this temple, I would like to share some brief information about this temple first. This temple is about 50 kilometers from my house. The temple is located along rural road 3023 in the Mai Rong Krai Village.
Wat Champakao's original name was Wat Huai Phra Chao. Which Wat Huai Phra Chao is an old temple. (There is no information on when it was created.) And the temple used to be an deserted temple before the temple was renovated in the year A.D. 2012. And changed the name from Wat Huai Phra Chao to Wat Champakao.

    Highlights of Wat Champakao.

Although Wat Champakao is a small temple. There isn't much space. But this temple is a beautiful temple with highlights. I think many people will like this temple, let's go.

First highlight : the temple entrance arch.

The large entrance arch is made of bricks plastered with cement and painted white, decorated with beautiful gold color patterns. Additionally, there were large giant statues on the left and right sides, between this entrance arch too. The two giant statues were different in shape from other temples I had visited. I love the entrance arch and these giant statues, they look beautiful and striking.

Highlight 2 : Another entrance arch to the temple.

This entrance arch is beautiful and unique. But this entrance is smaller than the first entrance arch. And there are two giant statues on the left and right, between the entrance arch like the first entrance arch. But the giant statues was smaller than the giant statues of the first entrance arch. And the shape is similar to the giant statues of other temples I have visited.

Highlight 3 : The temple's large buddha image hall (viharn).

I think this Lanna style buddha image hall (viharn) is beautiful and outstanding. Looks unique and classic too. This buddha image hall (viharn) is like an ancient buddha image hall (viharn) from the past.
Two gold color serpent statues on the railing of the stairs at the entrance to the buddha image hall (viharn) too, Looks unique and different from other temples. Of course we really like this buddha image hall (viharn).

    Other atmosphere in the temple.

There are also many statues inside the temple too. These statues are sacred statues that are revered. Such as statues of the goddess of mercy (Kuan Yim), statues of buddhist saint and others.

    The pagoda of the temple.

This temple has a small pagoda. But right now, a large pagoda is being built inside the temple. And a large pagoda under construction behind the buddha image hall (viharn).

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗
