El tema que parece estar de moda en el mundo actualmente es la inmigración. Tanto en Europa como en Estados Unidos es un tema principal en la política. Tanto es así que en algunos países ha habido un auge en ideas que traen fuertes regulaciones o restricciones en cuanto a la inmigración, como es el caso de Dinamarca y Países Bajos.

Como migrante en España, es un tema que se ha convertido en mi día a día. Es parte de mi vida como ser humano que actualmente vive en un país diferente al de su nacimiento. El tema de la migración humana ya se ha mencionado previamente en la comunidad #Humanitas, especialmente por medio de una iniciativa del año pasado, titulada: Iniciativa: Ser Humano, Ser Migrante.
Ser migrante es una sensación única, aunque se podría comparar un poco a vivir en una región diferente dentro de tu propio país, o quizás a cuando inicias la universidad. Los cambios son abruptos, pero poco a poco te adaptas. Y la palabra clave es adaptación, cosa que va a depender en mayor o menor medida qué tanto se parece tu cultura a la del país donde llegas.
Venezuela tiene muchas similitudes culturales con España. Sin embargo, al mismo tiempo hay cosas en las que podemos llegar a ser muy diferentes. Creo que una de las claves de una buena inmigración, es la integración cultural. Lo que ha sucedido en países como Dinamarca o Suecia, es la creación de zonas en donde viven sólo inmigrantes de una determinada cultura, y debido a varios factores, no terminan de integrarse a la sociedad que los rodea, generando algunos problemas.
Con esto no digo que ciertas culturas sean malas o menos que otras, simplemente que quizás no se dieron las condiciones adecuadas para su convivencia. Los Latinoamericanos (o Hispanoamericanos), en teoría, somos los inmigrantes que mejor podríamos adaptarnos a un país como España, debido a similitud cultural. Sin embargo, también depende mucho de cada persona.

As a migrant in Spain, it is an issue that has become my daily life. It is part of my life as a human being currently living in a different country than the one where I was born. The topic of human migration has been mentioned previously in the #Humanitas community, especially through an initiative last year, entitled: Initiative: Being Human, Being Migrant.
Being a migrant is a unique feeling, although it could be compared a bit to living in a different region within your own country, or perhaps to when you start college. The changes are abrupt, but little by little you adapt. The key word is adaptation, which will depend to a greater or lesser extent on how much your culture resembles that of the country where you arrive.
Venezuela has many cultural similarities with Spain. However, at the same time, there are things in which we can be very different. I think one of the keys to good immigration is cultural integration. What has happened in countries like Denmark or Sweden, is the creation of areas where only immigrants of a certain culture live, and due to several factors, they do not end up integrating into the society that surrounds them, generating some problems.
With this, I am not saying that certain cultures are bad or less than others, simply that perhaps they did not have the right conditions for their coexistence. Latin Americans (or Hispanic Americans), in theory, are the immigrants who could better adapt to a country like Spain, due to cultural similarity. However, it also depends a lot on each person.
He visto muchas historias de otros Europeos y Norteamericanos que se adaptan muy bien a vivir en España, aunque quizás se debe tomar en cuenta también no solo la cultura, sino el hecho de vivir en un país desarrollado con infraestructura y organización más o menos similar, cosa que no sucede del todo con Latinoamérica.
Existen infinidad de historias de Latinoamericanos que no les gustó o no se adaptaron a España, así como de otros que les ha ido muy bien. Pero más allá de eso, hay una parte personal, que cualquier ser humano sin importar su nacionalidad tiene que le haría adaptarse mejor a vivir en otro país.
Una de las peores sensaciones como migrante es sentirse rechazado por la sociedad que lo recibe, cosa que no he sentido aquí en España ya que he encontrado oportunidades y conocido personas muy amigables. Siempre habrán personas que no vean al extranjero con buenos ojos, pero siempre que hagas las cosas bien no habrá problemas.
Emigrar no es para todos. En general, las personas qué tienen un espíritu más explorador suelen ser las que lo hacen y que mejor se adaptan. Muchos lo han hecho de manera forzada, y al mismo tiempo muchos de ellos han conseguido mejores oportunidades en donde llegan. One of the worst feelings as a migrant is to feel rejected by the society that receives you, something that I have not felt here in Spain since I have found opportunities and met very friendly people. There will always be people who do not see foreigners in a good light, but as long as you do things right there will be no problems.
Emigrating is not for everyone. In general, people who have a more exploratory spirit tend to be the ones who do it and adapt better. Many have done it in a forced way, and at the same time many of them have achieved better opportunities where they arrive.
