Permit me to say my whole life isn’t interesting but only you all can tell after reading through
My name is Yakubu Hope Awyetu.
I am from the northern part of Nigeria,Niger state to be precise
I am a mechanical engineering student of one of the best universities in Nigeria
Federal University of Technology minna(FUTMINNA)
I came from a family of four boys and a girl,unfortunately I happened to be the last born.
All my life from my childhood where I stayed with my Dad and my mom,my siblings were in school then,so I help with house chores
I only had few friends due to how I was always indoors
After my college days(senior secondary school) I realized that it’s was another phase of my life we’re “Everyman is for himself”but all thanks for my brothers they where there for me,but not withstanding I was a young adult.so I started working towards being independent
So I decided to get myself a teaching which was the only job aside POS job for my qualification after going to acquire a painting skill but didn’t went as planned.
I got the job and I taught for about 5 to 6 month while waiting for my admission as a pre degree student into federal university of technology minna
I used the sum of 8000 naira as my salary to support myself as been independent and trying to relief my parents some boarding
God been so faithful I got admission as a pre degree student, the program was to last for a year
Honestly my stay as a pre degree student was not easy,but it was God all through
After my jamb examination (joint administration of matriculation board),I gain admission into the school as a science student not as a mechanical engineering student yet because student in 100 level as they say there names is written with a pencil and can be erased
Due to the population of the freshers in my set, our lectures had to be online,we’re we get study materials online,study for continuous assessment and examination,you can imagine how stressful and tempting to give up it would be.
By Gods doing I had a GPA of 4.12 in my first semester and 4.32 in my second semester making a total CGPA of 4.23(second class upper)
And by Gods grace I am in my 200level as an official mechanical engineering student.
This semester is more engaged and tougher because I became a content creator where I react to funny viral videos
