The moment of selecting the career that will mark the professional course of your life is a special moment.
In my very personal case I always had a very clear definition of what I was going to do, since the English language has always captivated me since I was a child and I knew many songs in English since I was a teenager and when I entered the career what I did was organize the knowledge that I had previously acquired .
That is why it was very easy to obtain my degree in English Language and Literature, which I have developed with great pride throughout my entire professional life, since it is not just about teaching them English through my classes. It is also being a counselor, a friend among many other things.
And above all, do it with love and respect for my students and for me.
I didn't choose pedagogy at random, I like my profession, and although I had to make a list of 10 careers for one to come out, I knew what I wanted, the list was pure formalism.
I love seeing when my students learn something new through my classes and they always have a phrase for me to translate or explain something they saw.
It fills me with satisfaction to see how many want to be an English teacher just like me.
And another possibility that has opened doors for me is simultaneous translation. Foreigners frequently come to the church in my community and I have the opportunity to put all my knowledge and linguistic skills into practice.
This is an excellent opportunity to show my students how important mastering the English language is and I take advantage of it and invite them to church and although many do not go, one or two always go and are in charge of telling everything they saw.
But what really fills me with satisfaction is the social recognition, when I see them already graduated as doctors, lawyers, engineers and they go to where I am and greet me with a lot of love and affection and say she is my teacher.

El momento de seleccionar la carrera que marcará el rumbo profesional de tu vida, es un momento especial.
En mi caso muy personal siempre tuve muy definido lo que iba hacer, ya que el idioma Inglés siempre me cautivo desde niña y me sabia muchas canciones en inglés desde adolescente y cuando entré a la carrera lo que hice fue organizar el conocimiento que había adquirido anteriormente.
Por eso fue muy fácil obtener mi título de licenciada en Lengua y Literatura Inglesa, el cual lo he desarrollando con mucho orgullo a lo largo de toda mi vida profesional, ya que no se trata solamente de enseñarles inglés a través de mis clases. Es ser también un consejero, una amiga entre tantas otras cosas.
Y ante todo hacerlo con amor y respeto por mis alumnos y por mi.
No escogí pedagógico al azar, me gusta mi profesión, y aunque tuve que hacer una lista de 10 carreras para que saliera una, sabía lo que quería, la lista era puro formalismo.
Adoro ver cuando mis estudiantes aprenden algo nuevo a través de mis clases y siempre tienen una frase para que le traduzca o le explique algo que vieron.
Me llena de satisfacción ver como muchos desean ser profesor de Inglés al igual que yo.
Y otra posibilidad que me ha abierto puertas es la traducción simultánea, con frecuencia llegan a la iglesia de mi comunidad extranjeros y tengo la posibilidad de poner en práctica todos mis conocimientos y habilidades lingüísticas.
Esta es una excelente oportunidad para demostrar le a mis estudiantes lo importante que es el dominio de la lengua inglesa y aprovecho y los invito a la iglesia y aunque muchos no van, siempre va uno o dos que se encarga de contar todo lo que vio.
Pero lo realmente me llena de satisfacción es el reconocimiento social, cuando los veo ya graduados de médicos, abogados, ingenieros y van hasta donde yo estoy y me saludan con mucho amor y cariño y dicen ella es mi teacher.
