I hope you have an excellent day, because today I woke up with a lot of desire to say participating in this #Zingtober challenge, so as you may already know I'm just on day 2 of this challenge and following the order of the list today corresponds the word “Discover”, so I got down to work to create my drawing.
By the way, I am drawing by hand for this challenge, so I will be able to use various tones and shades with the pencil.
As the word is about “Discover”, then I have thought that by chance of fate an explorer was with his cell phone recording and suddenly manages to capture a video of the grass dragon in full birth in its natural area.
For me, this drawing that I started to create is something special because it is like a majestic discovery that at some point happened in the universe of #holozing...
First, I made the frame of the cell phone that is recording the dragon.
Then quickly take the opportunity to make the dragon and its environment in which it is just living after hatching.
Then I used the same technique as yesterday, as I used the black pen to highlight each of the lines to improve the initial design.
The design was already fully highlighted here, now you will see how I used the pencil to create shadows and tones.
Now I started to give shadows and color, first to the frame of the cell phone, trying to highlight the dark hillocks that I could with the pencil.
Here I tried to make shadows all over the drawing and then blur them with my finger and then pass the eraser to give glows to all parts of the drawing.
Everything was ready, but first I had to add some italic text that related to this “Discover” theme.
Finally, it only remains for you to appreciate this majestic scene where the anonymous cameraman discovered a new species of holozing, I hope I have captured very well the message I was looking for from the beginning, I thank you for reading so feel free to comment.
