Asteroid exploded in the skies over Berlin.

What you see in the video occurred on January 21, since over the skies of Berlin in Germany a small asteroid of no more than 1 meter in diameter exploded without causing damage. Technically, due to its small size, we should call it a meteoroid, but a meteoroid is a very academic term that is not even used by NASA or the European space agency.

In his communications he normally talks about asteroids, but the important thing is that this is the eighth that has been detected before impacting the earth, specifically it was detected about three hours before, this means that we are improving our detection capacity.

What would happen if a larger one is detected, which could really pose a risk, three hours is a short time, but this was very small, a larger one could be detected earlier and even if it were only a few hours, it would be enough to send an alert to the population to take refuge in basements or garages and above all not to go near the windows.

We have an example with the Chelyabinsk car that exploded over said Russian city in 2003. It was about 15 m in diameter and most of the 700 injured were because they looked out the windows to see the glow of the explosion, when seconds later it arrived. The shock wave burst the window panes, causing cuts to the people who were looking out of them.
