A few days ago there was a series on Netflix called "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call". which is a South Korean medical drama series. And I had no previous idea about medical drama because I never watched any movie or series about medical drama before. Watched some movies on medical subjects but not completely focused on medical drama. But this series "The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call" is completely based on medical drama. Where we see the story of doctors and hospitals.

    How I Started Watching

Before watching this series I have not even seen the trailer of this series. The suggestion of this series came from Netflix and I immediately started watching the series. Each episode is 50 to 60 minutes in length. And there are eight episodes in total. So you have to spend around 8 hours to watch this series, which is a long time. But shockingly, I finished this series in one go. There are many reasons behind this.

    Plot and Setting

In this series we will see the story of a hospital and the doctors there. Here we will see an experienced doctor who has worked in Central South Africa and various other places. Later he came to a trauma ward in South Korea. Because the condition of trauma units in South Kuria is very bad. Because no one cares so much there, there are no good doctors. For this reason, the doctor has been specially sent there through the health minister of South Korea.

Where we understand that he wants to serve the patients, wants to save the lives of the patients. And the whole hospital is against it. Because others just want to make money. And you see it in many places, that doctors and companies just want to make money. And you can see in this series whether an honest doctor can save the lives of patients completely alone and completely opposite from the rest.

    Engagement and Pacing

Shockingly, when I watched the first episode of this series and I was hooked with this series as soon as I watched the first episode. I literally didn't realize when I went from the first episode to the fifth episode, the series was so engaging. Through this you can understand how fast-paced the series was. And there is so much material in this series that you will be hooked from the very first episode.

Now you may wonder what is even in this thing? I also thought I would see this medical drama? But there is much to see in it. Because of which my interest instantly got into this series and I finished watching the entire series one by one. There are many moments in each episode, which is much more enjoyable to watch. But it irritates a little bit. It is a Korean comedy. It doesn't work properly.

    Acting Performance

The acting of every actor in the series was very good. But that irritating factor was also present in this place. Because when they quarreled among themselves, it was like girls quarreling. Moreover, the comedy works perfectly at various points in the series. Not that comedy fails everywhere.

Why It’s Not for Family Viewing

Can't watch this series with family. Not because it has middle-adult scenes. It does not contain any adult scenes. Even in the entire series I didn't see a single kissing scene. And you can't watch it with your family because it's a medical drama, everything that happens in the medical will be shown here. For example, stomach has been cut in some places, kidneys are being taken out, heart transplant is being done, etc. All these are shown directly. But a lot of sensitive stuff is not shown, because many people won't see it.

    Final Verdict

Overall, I liked the series a lot. It was much better than I thought. And I will highly recommend this series to you too. No matter what kind of series you like I think you will like it if you like entertainment. Action, adventure are all in this series. So it looks like a full on entertainment series. That's highly recommended for you. I would rate this series 8 out of 10.
