As a 4th year college student (I'm currently a graduating student), this recent year-end party is close to my heart because this is the last time we were able to celebrate the year-end party together as college students. We decided we should look for a venue that's beautiful, spacious enough where you can do different activities. Fortunately, one of my classmates (whom I consider as God-sent) recommended the Green Lagoon Park. According to her, the Green Lagoon Park is a perfect place for family and friends bonding, celebrations (such as birthdays, Christmas Party, and more). And also, she's right, the Green Lagoon Park is inclusive, whether you're a student or an adult, I'm sure you'll enjoy Green Lagoon Park. Plus, every area of Green Lagoon Park is Instagram-worthy.
Going to Green Lagoon Park? Don't worry, going there is so easy. Green Lagoon Park is located at Canamucan, Compostela, Cebu, Philippines, which is a one hour ride from Cebu City. You can ride a jeepney or bus in Cebu North Bus Terminal. If you have a private car, then it's easier, you can use Waze or Google Map for driving directions. Additionally, Green Lagoon Park has a parking area inside for the tourists.
The moment I stepped inside Green Lagoon, my eyes literally widened. You'll expect it's just a small and simple beach resort from the outside, but once you'll enter? You'll be really amazed by it vastness.
There are a variety of cottages inside to choose from, that can be rented by the tourists. If you want to stay overnight, there are also air-conditioned rooms, each has its own comfort tooms, TV, as well as fridge. For those who didn't bring food with them, Green Lagoon also has several stores and even a restaurant! Yes, Green Lagoon has its own restaurant and I could say, it has a refreshing vibe since it's near the sea plus the chill songs that's played while eating? It's extraordinary.
Green Lagoon Park is not just a simple beach, it's really wide inside and there are lots of activities you can do. The swimming pool has two slides, that surely, the kids and even adults will love.
They also has a playground inside and a volleyball court. During our visit there, my classmates and I play varioud games. We really had fun during that time even though our activities were simple, the bonding we had is what makes us even more happy during that day.
Aside from that, the place is so Instagrammable . We waste no time and took pictures in almost every corner of the resort.
During our year-end party, we bring food like chicken curry, spaghetti, lumpia, and fried chicken. We also bring softdrinks, and of course, we had exchange gifts. After we had lunch, we then play various games and roam around the entire resort.
What makes that day even more memorable was the fact that we're together. My heart is really happy that day because we had year-end party together with my classmates that became my family ever since I begin my college journey.

Aside from the fact that it's affordable, the food has no corkage fee, so I could say Green Lagoon is budget-friendly for friends and family. The resort is clean, had many amenities, and friendly staffs. What makes it even more beautiful is that it has swimming pool and at the same time, sea.
