    Namaste 🙏

    Hope you’re doing great!!!

Seven days had already passed since I have moved back to my hometown, and it feels like yesterday only I took a bus from Delhi. The time passing very fast here and I am having fun. It’s been seven days. I am writing every day in this week has been really productive for me. Waking up early has helped me a lot, and because of that only, I am getting lot of stories to post for you every day.

There was a prediction of snow today, but when I woke up early this morning, there was no sign of snow. There wasn’t even a single raindrop that was falling from the sky. The weather was overcast just like all the days I’ve been home.

Today, I decided to go to a village that was next to my village. It was about 2 km from my village towards the mountain top. The name of the village I was visiting was Dandi Dhar. It’s not a proper village, but just small settlement of a few houses in between two villages and because of that, it looks really beautiful as there not many houses around. In yesterday‘s post, you could see a lot of houses tightly built around each other, but this was not the case with this area.

    IMG_6868.jpeg

The houses was built at a lot of distance from each other, and there was a lot of space for the garden and mostly people here had huge land, so it was all theirs.

As already mentioned that this area is on the higher region than my village, so naturally it offered better views of the mountains. There are many beautiful houses built in this area and as already mentioned, I like the old ones better than the new ones. It’s not that new ones are not good. It’s just like I like the vintage vibe of the old places just like this red house. These houses are really practical and cozy. The scooter parked in the front of this house was giving very 90s asthetic vibe.

This area is spread across a region of about 1 km and there are many natural variations to this area. You will come across a pine forest on your way too.

    IMG_6875.jpeg

After crossing the woods, you will come across this newly built house that’s converted to an Airbnb nowadays. The view is really awesome from there as you can see in the photograph below.

Now it was time for the star of the show, and the star today was the view of the Orchards that we were able to see from up there. These orchards are spread across a lot of area and are main contributors to the Apple produce across India. 90% of these trees are Apple trees and others are a mix of plum, pears, cherries, and apricots.

    IMG_6873.jpeg

As most of the orchards are owned by the people living in this area so the people living here are quite rich. Just look at their houses. Imagine living in such houses and enjoying the life in the Himalayas with such amazing vistas all around you.

    IMG_6872.jpeg

People who own land here, also grow their own food and have their own dairy farms. They are living the best lives one can imagine. Breathing fresh air everyday, eating organic fruits and vegetables, having fresh milk products and also having a rich cultural and social life.

    IMG_6871.jpeg

Apart from that, you got to see all the five seasons in full glory here. Nowadays as it’s winter season, so the mountains are dry. There are no leaves on the Apple orchard and you can see snow on the mountains but in spring time there are flowers everywhere there is Apple Blossom and that’s magnificent in autumn time you see, yellow leaves and yellow hues everywhere, and in summers, you see the bright sunny days and bright colours all around you. In short, it’s just a heaven.

    IMG_6876.jpeg

Indha photograph below you can see the temple in which these people worship. This temple is built on a curve utilising the land there the view from here is just magnificent.

    IMG_6877.jpeg

How can someone not fall in love with views like this? Just see how beautiful everything is looking. It’s looking so beautiful in this dramatic sky conditions. Imagine in sunny days and winter snow how beautiful it would look.

    IMG_6878.jpeg

    IMG_6879.jpeg

This is the last house of this area and it’s built right next to the temple on a cliff. It’s not only on a cliff, but on a curved cliff, I must say you can see it yourself. The location of the house is just unbelievable. The people living in this house, literally get to see the 360° views all around them.

After trolling for about an hour, it was now time to get back to my home. I had real fun, exploring the village near to my village. I hope you all like it as much as I do.

    That’s all for today, guys.

    Thanks for passing by.

    Peace ☮️
