Most people are always excited about the weekend, but it is not exactly the same for me. It’s Friday, February 23, 2024, and I’m home relaxing. It’s not like I have anywhere to go on Friday; since I changed the city I live in, I have always worked from home, which makes it very hard to make friends, so most of the time I’m struck with my AirPod, timer, and power bank.
I was just home, looking at my timer, before deciding what to do next. The funny fact was that they were together just the way I took the picture. After checking Discord, the first image that came to mind was the image of my gadgets, so I took a shot of it.
AirPod
I mostly make video content on Friday or Saturday, and this is where my AirPod comes in. Editing videos isn’t easy; people who make and edit videos would understand what I’m saying. To make videos that include music, sounds, and graphics editing, you mostly need a headset. My AirPod is doing a perfect job at that. After making video content, during the edit, I need to listen to every sound coming out of the video to make sure the video comes out well.
Timer
The timer is always on my table because I use it to time myself when I’m typing. I set a timer to see how fast I can write and how much I have improved. Sometimes I wish my timer had an alarm I could set to wake me up at night, but my phone is already doing that job. My timer doesn’t just set laps or countdowns; it also tells the actual time. Sometimes I don’t need to check my phone for time; I just check my timer and set a reminder for myself using my notepad. This has helped me set things right and prioritise my work schedule.
Power Bank.
If you leave my community, the power bank would be one of your most expensive items or special gadgets. My power bank has saved me countless hours of time when there was no electricity for hours. My phone battery health is poor, and with the power bank, I have been able to stay online and get things done. Without my power bank, I wouldn’t be active on the hive the way I’m currently. I can use my power bank to charge my phone to 100% three times before it goes off. That’s if the power bank is fully charged.
Having these devices has been a true blessing to me. There are days whereby I just want to remain in a tranquil state and my AirPod helps me get the job done; some days whereby I would be expecting electricity but it won't be restored; since my power bank is charged, I wouldn't need to worry about it; and lastly, before I sleep or after I wake up from the bed, I always check the time so I can say, "This is when I sleep and I got off from the bed around this time." With my timer, I have been able to do this very well.
