I love Carnival costumes, I always participated in them when I was a girl at school and even when I was a model. But this year, after a very demanding semester at the university and starting to work part-time on these festivities, although starting full-time this Thursday, I really didn't have the social energy to go to the Carnival Parade in my city.
I will enjoy this time to recharge, dedicate myself to my gym activities, my publications and also to rest at home. I really needed to take care of my mind and my body, without the stress of University, we have to recognize and respect what we need, listen to ourselves and take care of ourselves and I really needed more calm in my life.
I remembered that I had this my Egyptian costume, I really loved this costume. My mom made it for me for some modeling activities when I was a child and of course the costume no longer fits me, but today she wanted to recreate that look with the head accessory and the necklace. I did some makeup and took some photos that I share here on everyone's favorite Dapp on Hive.
I am also leaving you here a photo when I debuted this costume, which was in 2015. I remember that I felt very beautiful and happy with this costume.
Today while she was doing my makeup, my mom played me a song from the 80's called "Walking like an Egyptian", she had never heard it, I thought it was very funny and she even taught me how to dance to it. I hope you like my photos.
Me encantan los disfraces para el Carnaval, siempre participé de ellos cuando era niña en el colegio y hasta cuando era modelo. Pero este año, luego de un semestre muy exigente en la universidad y comenzar a trabajar medio tiempo en estas festividades, aunque desde este jueves comienzo a tiempo completo, realmente no tenía la batería social para ir al Desfile de Carnaval en mi ciudad.
Disfrutaré de este tiempo para recargar energías, dedicarme a mis actividades en el gimnasio, mis publicaciones y también para descansar en casa. Necesitaba mucho cuidar mi mente y mi cuerpo, sin el estrés de la Universidad, hay que reconocer y respetar lo que necesitamos, escucharnos y cuidarnos y realmente necesitaba más calma en mi vida.
Recordé que tenía este mi disfraz de Egipcia, este disfraz lo amaba realmente. Mi mamá me lo hizo para unas actividades como modelo cuando era niña y por supuesto que no me queda ya el traje, pero hoy quise recrear ese look con el accesorio de la cabeza y el collar. Me hice un maquillaje y tome algunas fotos que comparto aquí en la Dapp favorita de todos en Hive.
También les estoy dejando aquí una foto cuando estrené este disfraz, que fue en el 2015. Recuerdo que me sentía muy bella y feliz con este disfraz.
Hoy mientras me maquillaba, mi mamá me puso una canción de los años 80´s que se llamaba "Caminando como un Egipcio", nunca la había escuchado, me pareció muy divertida y hasta me enseñó a bailarla. Deseo que les gusten mis fotos.
