    Stop trying to please everyone.

In my job, I meet a lot of people who want to be liked by everyone, but it's a trap. If you want to regain your power, I'll give you two pieces of advice:

Don't talk so that others will agree with you; on the contrary, dare to express your thoughts, your points of view, even if they're different from the norm.

And also, don't work to gain recognition, approval or validity from others, on the contrary, act on a daily basis to remain consistent with your personal values, and you'll see that if you please others, you'll please for who you really are, and that's a hell of a lot of power.

You'll be able to filter out the people around you who are there for who you are, not because you're trying to please them.

You know, today we live in a society where judgment is everywhere. We're all trying to conform to some kind of image. This image, in fact, is what others would like us to be, and we're all more or less sensitive to the way others look at us.

Generally speaking, we judge each other a lot and, as is all too often the case, the judgment of others affects us emotionally. We have this tendency to want to please everyone a little.

I think we've all been there, especially when you're young, when you're at school, college, high school, all that. You know, we put a lot of importance on superficial criteria, we judge you for anything, for your style of dress, for your physical appearance, for your haircut, for all those details like that.

I'd like to share a funny little story to help you understand that there's no point in trying to please everyone. This story is a little tale that I really like, that I think is really cool.

It's the story of the father, the son and the donkey :.

Once upon a time, a father, his son and a donkey lived in a small mountain village. One day, the father decided to ride into town with his son and their donkey. Together, they rode the donkey into town. However, people began to criticize them, saying it was cruel to make the donkey carry two people.

The father, taking these criticisms into account, decided to get off the donkey and let his son ride alone. But then other people criticized them, saying it was irresponsible to leave a young boy alone on the donkey.

So the father had another idea. He rode the donkey himself, letting his son walk alongside. But once again, they were criticized. People said it was selfish to take advantage of the donkey while his son walked.

Desperate, the father finally decided to walk with his son alongside the donkey. But even this time, people laughed at them, saying they were stupid not to get on the donkey and tire themselves out walking.

Finally, the father realized that it was impossible to please everyone. No matter what they did, there would always be someone to criticize them. It was then that he realized that seeking everyone's approval was futile, and that it was better to follow their own path without worrying about other people's opinions.

Never forget that your personality, even if there are people who will hate it, there are bound to be plenty who will love it. And rather than spending your time not being yourself, meeting people who don't suit you, be yourself. And in the end, that's the only way you'll be able to get the life you want.

The next time you catch yourself trying to please everyone, remember this little story, the story of the father, the son and the donkey.
