You probably know that I like to use the Ecency app, but unfortunately the wallet doesn't work at the moment. As far as I know, this is because it is being revised. I hope it will work again soon.
Well, I digress. I miss the function in the app to send someone Hive directly from a post. I only just found out that this function is available on the Ecency website. Always thought you could only send Ecency points as a gift.
If you click on the little gift icon below the post, a new window opens.
The points are selected here by default. But you can also select Hive and HBD. I had always overlooked this before, I think I need glasses, oh no, I have contact lenses ;)
This is of course much better than going into the wallet yourself and entering the username, some are a bit more complicated and you don't want to send something to someone else.
It also saves you having to type in the name. It would be nice if this function were also available in the Ecency app. It could easily be integrated into the menu where you can select reblog etc. anyway, couldn't it @ecency?
Actually, I would also like to have this in the comments and not just in the post.

ihr wisst bestimmt, dass ich gerne die Ecency App nutze, bei der aktuell leider die Wallet gar nicht funktioniert. Soweit ich weiß, weil die überarbeitet wird. Ich hoffe, dass diese bald wieder geht.
Nun ich schweife ab. Ich vermisse in der App die Funktion, um von einem Post aus direkt jemandem Hive zu senden. Dass es diese Funktion auf der Ecency-Webseite gibt, habe ich auch erst gerade herausgefunden. Dachte immer, man kann nur Ecency-Punkte als Geschenk senden.
Wenn man auf das kleine Geschenk-Symbol klickt, das unter dem Posting zu finden ist, öffnet sich ein neues Fenster.
Standardmäßig sind hier die Punkte ausgewählt. Aber man kann auch Hive und HBD wählen. Hatte das bisher immer übersehen, glaube ich brauche eine Brille, ach nee, habe ja Kontaktlinsen ;)
Das ist natürlich deutlich besser als selber in die Wallet zu gehen und den Usernamen einzugeben, manche sind doch etwas komplizierter und da möchte man nicht an jemand anderen was schicken.
Zudem erspart man sich auch das Tippen des Namens. Schön wäre es, wenn es diese Funktion auch bei Ecency in der App gäbe. In das Menü wo man eh rebloggen etc auswählen kann, könnte das doch recht einfach eingebunden werden oder @ecency?
Eigentlich hätte ich das auch gerne bei den Kommentaren und nicht nur beim Posting.
