The scientific name of plain prinia is Prinia inornata. Such a small shrub seems very fond of being in the bush. I was passing through a crop field which was a dirt road. There were bushes on both sides of this road. There it suddenly caught my eye. I turn on the camera and take some pictures.
The plain prinia is a very agile and fickle bird. It is very scary. So it became very difficult for me to photograph them. The sun was hot and my body was sweating. Meanwhile the birds were moving away from me, and repeatedly escaping from the camera frame. I felt very upset and left them.
Plain prinia is brown in appearance, with short wings and a long tail. The tail may appear to have a few long feathers. It is 13 to 14cm long. Nice looking and small. Many may think sparrow but there are many differences.
It lays 3 to 5 eggs in one brood. It usually lives by eating insects. Since there are many insects in the crop field, they go there to eat them. They can also be found in gardens where there are medium trees. You can also find them in tall grass. If you look at the photos, you will see the birds sitting on the grass.
