Greetings #Pinmapple community, it is a pleasure for me to publish for the second time in this community and I recently took a trip along the entire Guama highway, known by many people as the Chivirico highway, which is located 74 km from the city of Santiago de Cuba, and I want to tell you how exciting it was for me to make this trip along the entire highway where I was in direct contact with nature and it really was something very special.
The Chivirico highway has an unparalleled geography, where the waters of the Caribbean Sea bathe its entire coasts.
From the road you can see a landscape where you lose your sight as you look for the horizon, and your imagination flies along with the wind, which carries the strong aroma of the sea, causing a magical effect.
It is also a place steeped in history, since from the road in the Juan González part, you can see the bow of a sunken Spanish ship, during the Spanish-Cuban North American War at the end of the 19th century, in 1898, where the captain of the Seeing himself being chased, the ship decided to crash the ship, so that it would gradually sink. And they can descend and flee when they reach land.
This is the only ship that can be seen, but under the sea in this same area there are other sunken warships.
Something difficult to find with the naked eye anywhere else, which is why it draws a lot of attention from all the travelers who pass by.
The raising of larger cattle is something characteristic of this place, where they always find good pastures for the herd, and where you can always enjoy fresh milk that has just been milked.
On the other side of the road, the beautiful countryside, crowned by the mountains that characterize eastern Cuba, with elegant palms, fruit trees and beautiful little houses of the residents of this beautiful place blessed by God, since it is a very prosperous place have seafood, livestock and fruits, in addition to being free of any trace of environmental contamination, something very important to maintain the ecosystem of the place.
When you climb the Cachimba hill you can see this unparalleled landscape, on one side the sea and on the other the countryside. Landscape that invites you to enjoy nature and interact with it, creating a feeling of incalculable happiness and peace. When we are in contact with nature, our body is revitalized and gains new strength.
The pure air that comes from the sea and the countryside oxygenates our lungs.
Taking this trip was an unforgettable experience, since walking through the city is not the same as walking through the countryside and enjoying the sea breeze at the same time. Very few places offer you this pleasant possibility of enjoying both at the same time. And being able to recharge with new energy, I managed to completely de-stress and this place is magical, where nature surrounds you and you fall in love with the place.

También es un lugar preñado de historia, ya que desde la carretera en la parte de Juan González, se puede observar la proa de un barco Español hundido, durante la guerra Hispano Cubano Norteamérica a finales del siglo XIX, en 1898, donde el capitán del barco al verse perseguido, decidió chocar el barco, para que se hundirá paulatinamente. Y ellos poder descender y huir al llegar a tierra.
Este es el único barco que se ve, pero debajo del mar en esta misma zona hay otros buques de guerra hundidos.
Algo difícil de encontrar a simple vista en otro lugar, por lo que llama mucho la atención de todos los viajeros que por allí pasamos.
La cría de ganado mayor es algo característico de este lugar, donde siempre encuentran buenos pastos para el rebaño, y donde siempre se puede disfrutar de una leche fresca acabada de ordeñar.
Del otro lado de la carretera la bella campiña, coronada por las montañas que caracterizan el oriente de Cuba, con elegantes palmas, árboles frutales y unas lindas casita de los pobladores de este hermoso lugar bendecido por Dios, ya que es un lugar muy próspero al contar con mariscos, ganados y frutas, además de estar libre de cualquier vestigio de contaminación ambiental, algo muy importante para mantener el ecosistema del lugar.
Al subir la loma de la Cachimba puedes observar este paisaje sin igual, de un lado el mar y del otro la campiña. Paisaje que te invita a disfrutar de la naturaleza y a interactuar con ella creando un sentimiento de felicidad y paz incalculable y es que al estar en contacto con la naturaleza nuestro cuerpo se revitaliza y cobra nuevas fuerzas.
El aire puro que sale del mar y del campo oxigena nuestros pulmones.
Realizar este viaje fue una experiencia inolvidable, ya que no es lo mismo pasear por la ciudad que pasear por el campo y disfrutar de la brisa del mar al mismo tiempo, muy pocos lugares te ofrecen esta agradables posibilidad de disfrutar de los dos al mismo tiempo y de poder recargar nuevas energías, logré desestresarme por completo y es que este lugar es mágico, donde la naturaleza te envuelve y te enamoras del lugar.
