En ese tiempo yo trabajaba en una tienda en el centro de la ciudad y hacía unos meses que la encargada había renunciado. La antigua encargada nunca nos permitió disfrazarnos para Halloween, aun cuando la tienda era decorada con motivo de la fecha; pero, ese año, en un acto un poco rebelde (pues no pedimos permiso a los dueños de la tienda), llegamos muy temprano y nos hicimos todos un maquillaje alusivo a la fecha.
La nueva encargada fue quien nos maquilló y luego abrimos la tienda para atender a la clientela con nuestras caras maquilladas.

En esa época aún era de uso obligado el tapabocas, aunque la mayoría casi no lo usaba, pero para quienes estábamos trabajando era obligatorio, pues podían multar a la tienda si llegaba una inspección y no lo teníamos. Las reacciones de los clientes fueron muy variadas, algunos se horrorizaron, otros se rieron. Algunos nos pidieron que nos quitáramos el tapabocas para vernos bien y hasta se hicieron fotos con nosotros.

Para los clientes no fue tan sorprendente, pues estaban acostumbrados a que el personal de esa tienda solía pintarse el cabello de colores llamativos, así que a la mayoría les pareció normal y divertido.

Una de mis compañeras subió una foto a un estado y fue así como la dueña de la tienda supo de nuestra travesura, que luego confirmó al revisar las cámaras del local, pero no se enojó; se lo tomó como una travesura inocente.

Aquel día nos divertimos mucho en el trabajo y se sentó un precedente, así que después de aquella ocasión se nos permitió maquillarnos en carnavales o en Halloween, lo que hacía las jornadas más divertidas.

Creo que hacer pequeñas concesiones como esa no cuesta nada a los jefes, pero pueda hacer el ambiente laboral muy agradable.

Hace un tiempo que ya no trabajo en esa tienda, pero me encanta visitarlos en Halloween y ver sus creativos maquillajes.

Con este divertido y hermoso recuerdo estoy participando en el jueves de #TBT, un creativo concurso que nos da la oportunidad de rememorar nuestros atesorados recuerdos.

At that time I was working in a store in the center of the city and a few months ago the manager had resigned. The former manager never allowed us to dress up for Halloween, even when the store was decorated for the date; but, that year, in a somewhat rebellious act (since we did not ask permission from the store owners), we arrived very early and we all did makeup alluding to the date.
The new manager was the one who did our makeup and then we opened the store to serve customers with our makeup faces.

At that time, face masks were still mandatory, although the majority hardly used them, but for those of us who were working it was mandatory, because the store could be fined if an inspection came and we didn't have it. Customer reactions were very varied, some were horrified, others laughed. Some asked us to take off our masks to see ourselves well and even took photos with us.

For the customers it was not so surprising, since they were used to the fact that the staff in that store usually dyed their hair bright colors, so to most of them it seemed normal and fun.

One of my colleagues uploaded a photo to a status and that's how the owner of the store found out about our prank, which she later confirmed by checking the store's cameras, but she didn't get angry; She took it as an innocent prank.

That day we had a lot of fun at work and a precedent was set, so after that occasion we were allowed to wear makeup at carnivals or on Halloween, which made the days more fun.

I think making small concessions like that doesn't cost the bosses anything, but it can make the work environment very pleasant.

I haven't worked at that store for a while, but I love visiting them on Halloween and seeing their creative makeup.
