Hii hive running, good morning from Indonesia, hope this week you are staying healthy and happy. This week it's been raining every night in my place, so I haven't had a chance to train. And since I went to my mom's house last night, and it happened to be sunny this morning, I decided to go for a run, but I overslept. I started at 6:30. Fortunately, it was a little cloudy so it wasn't too hot.
This time, I decided not to run towards the beach, I wanted to go there. But because I overslept and the road here is the area leading to the tourist area, many vehicles have arrived for vacation. Moreover, there was a long weekend. It's certain that there will be many tour buses that will pass by, and I don't want to get a lot of horns from those cars haha.
So, I decided to run in the factory area behind my house, because this weekend was not crowded and I could see the mountain as a very close view, but it turned out that while running in this area there was a strong smell of factory waste, so I could not finish my 5k.
My first pace was 9:01. With an avg pace of 9:17/km. With a moving time of 37:25. I could only finish 4.03 km. Well not bad. At least I got some exercise today.
Apart from the smell of waste, my feet were already hurting at km 2. Not because of my shin splits but the heel of my frozen foot, it turned out that my heel was injured, because I wore the wrong socks. And I immediately looked for the nearest shop to buy a wound plaster. But, because I forced myself to keep running, the wound opened up and expanded. (I couldn't upload the photo because I thought you guys would feel weird seeing it).
