There is no problem with showing love to your loved ones once; sacrifices and so on are part of what we need to show to those that we love.
My definition of business and love might be a little bit different because we all have different kinds of beliefs, so here is my own opinion about it.
Ask yourself if you have anyone among your family and friends that can sacrifice for you before you sacrifice for them, so it won't be like you are just wasting your time and energy on what you should not waste it on.
There are so many people who are just there to use you; some claim to be your friends, so they will be able to collect from you. Honestly, the question is, do you have anyone that can reimburse you whenever you are so broke? Do you have any friends or family that you can call and be like, "Hi, I'm down and I need this certain amount of money? Do you even have anyone to call if you are hungry, not to mention someone you can call if you are totally broke?
I believe in friendship and family, but honestly, it's good for you to see someone who really loves you for real. Most people like us today because they will see something to collect from us. Is there anyone in your life who will still love you when they are not benefiting from you?
Putting business and love together needs some consideration. Imagine a family or friends that don't help you with anything. In your business, it comes down to what you have. There is no problem with helping someone with your business, but if you really want to move forward in life, you should know the difference between love and business.
Let me give you an example of what I'm saying. When I was in university and about to start my business, a friend of mine borrowed me a certain amount of money, and that is what I used to start my business. Imagine a friend like that comes to my shop and needs something from me; of course I will give it to him without thinking about it because he's kind of a friend who wants my progress, not my downfall. And imagine another friend who always demands something from you or comes to your shop and takes anything they want.
I once had a friend say that anytime he comes to my shop, I will allow him to take whatever he wants without collecting money at the moment. Why do I do that? He happens to be someone who, when he has money, you don't need to beg him before he gives, and even if you need money for business, he will be there for you. People like that deserve love in business.
Maybe because I actually selected friends, I can manage love and business with all my friends because, honestly, they are people who will always be there for me. None of my friends have taken advantage of my business before.
Even my family, once they buy, will pay double because they don't support you. Who will? And that is the kind of person I'm too; you are my friend. Even when your goods are expensive, I will still buy them because you are friends, and there are many benefits from that. But I will not share my business with any family or friends that just want to take advantage of it. I can't be there for someone that I can't look up to when they actually have money and still be strict with it.
