Hello dear friends. How are you today? About me, I changed clothes four times because of too much sweat. My clothes get wet immediately after doing the multitasking. Since it’s summer, it’s expected to struggle with the heated weather except for those who live in the countryside. There would be more than a basket of clothes for laundry within a week. But I wash the clothes twice a week with the help of a washing machine. However, I don’t use a washing machine when it is the clothes of my baby because it needs to be brushed and remove the stains (if there are) through my hands. I also put a cotton handkerchief on my baby’s back.

Around 4 pm today, my little sister, my baby, and I went to the sari-sari store to buy our snack loaf bread. The rays of the sun were as strong even if we had an umbrella. Before summer, the weather in January and in half of February was colder than now. Around 4 pm, the sun slowly disappears, but this April, sunset happens at 6 pm. I sometimes wish we had heavy rain so that we would not turn on the AC inside the room because the

As we walked, I told my little sister that we would wait for her at the playground. My baby was holding the umbrella but she was sweating. Yet, she enjoyed running alone in a spacious area. Even with the strong sun waves, she was happy to explore another world outside.

We got out of the playground when I followed my baby who wanted to come to her (elder sister) at the sari-sari store. There was a shady road at the store she didn't bring an umbrella.

My little sister had finally bought a loaf of bread. It costs 0.87$ or 50 pesos. Her money was 1.75$ so we waited for the change even if it was a small amount. The store owner was hospitable and young. She kept on talking while counting the change, ‘till she recounted because she is talkative too.

While I took a picture of my little sister, I was nervous when I looked at my baby who tried to climb the rails. She also pointed to the ice cream, and kept saying “I-C-E-C-R-E-A-M!” Yup, when I saw it, I realized it is suitable for hot weather. But we only bought 1.75$.

When we went back home, my sister-in-law bought a liter of Coke. My mother's doctor advised her to take a bath twice a day to prevent dehydration and heat stroke. Before this week, she went to her doctor for her checkup because she had two days of headaches and was weak. The doctor said that it was just the heated weather and that she would also drink cold water aside from taking a bath twice.

We bought an ice wrapper so we could make lots of ice. The freezer is now full of ice. The stores here sell ice and icewaters for only 3 pesos. But it was only before that we always buy ice and icewaters at the stores because we didn't have a fridge. It is really important as it could also help in emergencies. The TV newscasters remind the public to always drink cold water this summer as it stops heart palpitations and heat stroke.

    How about you??
