We wanted to give you a quick update!
We've been in talks with two different groups to attempt some onboarding and guidance of authors and regular users to hive recently, one of them have taken more concrete roots and will be in the making and running by our very own @macchiata.
POSH will be funding this initiative and has been collecting liquid rewards extra hard lately in the form of post rewards and comments using @reward.app to liquidate them. So in case you've been wondering what's up, that's why we've been doing them.
Mac has been posting about the initiative if you wanna give it a read: https://peakd.com/hive-189306/@macchiata/project-diary-more-updates-on-bridging-hive-and-creativity-in-indonesia
They'll need the funding before December so we'll be collecting liquids for it. Should not be more than $400 according to recent estimates. Let's hope it's a successful experiment that brings in a wave of new quality authors to Hive who'll stick around to learn more about us and the platform and ecosystem!
Other than that, not much has happened in terms of funding.
We've spent roughly 425 Hive to provide liquidity to the swap.hive-posh pool and part to buy posh with it, there's been some sales occurring of POSH by users and we hope to support the price better in the near future.
We spent 360 Hive to pay for POSH's servers this month.
An additional 193 Hive has been sent to @nomnomnomnom to provide liquidity for the @redditposh comment rewards based on Reddit shares.
There we've seen some solid numbers lately, with more people joining in on the sharing some have been hitting it big with amount of votes and views on Reddit which hopefully brings a lot of people to our front-ends who may stick around!
Here's some screenshots of some great shares by @theworldaroundme and @blkchn!
This has been amazing to see so we've been giving them some nice votes to encourage further sharing! They will also earn POSH of course!
On a sidenote: when we changed a setting for @redditposh some time ago we accidentally made the comments go 50/50 instead of 100% hive, this unfortunately caused the payment/liquidation bot not to know what to do with the HBD so it did not send those out. We have changed the setting back as soon as we noticed, meaning from now on 100% of the comment rewards will yet again go to the sharers, apologize for this!
We'll use the HBD we did not send out to instead fund the above mentioned initiatives and another one that's yet to be assessed and decided upon.
Another bug that keeps bugging us on @poshtoken has been the POSH distribution to delegators which for unknown reason keeps not fetching the delegator list and just rewarding itself on some days. Our dev is a bit puzzled as he can't reproduce the bug but will try and figure out soon what the issue is, we hope our delegators aren't too annoyed by the short-term bug.
Thanks for reading!
