Doing It Bad With Personal Goals

    Hey guys!

How are you doing? There is one topic that bothers me a lot these days.

Nine months ago, I quit my job in a corporate environment. I have the financial freedom to take this bold decision; my house and car are fully paid for, and there are no kids around to care about.

I planned to take a sabbatical year to work on my happiness. The job was not satisfactory anymore; the pay was not the best, but I was constantly pressured to solve the impossible. A lot of frustration accumulated on my side, and many personal objectives remained unfulfilled.

After the first 9 months, I'm looking at myself, and today, I'm a happy person!

On the other hand, I notice that I'm building a personal feeling that I'm wasting precious time. The progress on my personal objectives is slow. I won't go into details about those personal ones, except what I keep as an open book for everyone here on the chain:

Progress is made but unfocused, and some topics are fully ignored. I'm observing the same for the other personal objectives. Perhaps it feels like over-engineering, but I know, especially in this moment of life, I need to bring discipline to myself:

"Those Who Lives Without Discipline, Dies Without Honor" - a book that I have on my reading list

I'm curious to know how you are doing it yourselves.
    Any life hacks to share?
