Feliz miércoles para todos mis queridos Hivers, 😜🥰 hoy el dúo dinámico les quiere mostrar un suéter que confeccionamos la semana pasada, para completar el conjunto con una falda que ya habíamos hecho anteriormente. Cabe destacar que para la elaboración de cualquier prenda de vestir no necesariamente vamos a requerir de un patrón. En mi caso me gusta tomar como medida algún suéter que me quede bien y me sirva de referencia para cortar otro. Esté método siempre nos saca de apuros y nos ahorra tiempo y trabajo.
Happy Wednesday to all my dear Hivers, 😜🥰 today the dynamic duo wants to show you a sweater that we made last week, to complete the outfit with a skirt that we had already made previously. It should be noted that for the elaboration of any garment we will not necessarily require a pattern. In my case, I like to take a sweater that fits me well and serves as a reference to cut another one. This method always gets us out of trouble and saves us time and work.
La idea de este post es ir mostrando poco a poco algunas de las piezas que hacemos bien sea para uso personal (como podrán este suéter es para mi uso) o alguna costura que nos hagan por encargo. Esta tela Rib es bastante amigable al momento de picar y cocer. Incluso es muy fresca, elástica y tiene una vista acanalada. Generalmente se usa con mucha frecuencia en la elaboración de cuellos y puños. A pesar de su suavidad es considerada de mucha resistencia y calidad.
The idea of this post is to show little by little some of the pieces that we make either for personal use (as you can see this sweater is for my use) or some sewing that we do by order. This Rib fabric is quite friendly when it comes to chopping and sewing. It is even very cool, stretchy and has a ribbed look. It is generally used very often in the elaboration of collars and cuffs. In spite of its softness, it is considered to be of high strength and quality.
Como verán en las imágenes se hicieron corte de la parte delantera y la parte trasera, la única diferencia entre una y otra es la altura del cuello, una es más baja es decir la parte delantera y la otra un poco más alta, eso es a gusto de cada quien, ya que hay muchos tipos de cuellos.
As you will see in the images were cut from the front and back, the only difference between one and the other is the height of the neck, one is lower in the front and the other a little higher, that is to everyone's taste, as there are many types of necks.
Para las mangas decidí que fueran tres cuartos, por lo general tengo complejo con mis brazos y por eso prefiero ese largo o en su defecto manga larga.
For the sleeves I decided that they should be three quarters, I usually have a complex with my arms and that's why I prefer that length or long sleeves.
Como podrán notar se le hicieron unos puñitos para que quedara un poco más larga ya que la tela apenas alcanzó para el diseño.
As you may notice, I made some cuffs to make it a little longer since the fabric was barely enough for the design.
En el cuello hubo un pequeño detalle ya que este debió haber quedado un poco más ajustado, sin embargo, esto nos sirve como referencia para que la próxima podamos ajustar la medida deseada. Otra opción es descoser y ajustar y volver a montar. Eso lo voy a pensar 🤔🤭.
There was a small detail in the neckline since it should have been a little tighter, however, this serves as a reference so that the next time we can adjust the desired size. Another option is to unpick and adjust and reassemble. I will think about that 🤔🤭.
La combinación de estas dos piezas las cuales fueron realizadas por nosotras, se ve muy bien. Siempre he sido amante del color rosado, primero porque era el color preferido de mi mami y segundo porque siento que es un color que me favorece, yo lo llamo el color de la ternura.
The combination of these two pieces which were made by us, looks great. I have always been a lover of the color pink, first because it was my mommy's favorite color and second because I feel it is a color that suits me, I call it the color of tenderness.
Espero que estas piezas sean de su agrado y como siempre les digo en la costura debemos de ser muy creativos, flexibles y adaptables. Algunos se guían por patrones específicos otros por piezas ya elaboradas e incluso algunos trabajan al cálculo, sea cual sea su método lo importante es lograr el objetivo.
I hope you like these pieces and as I always say in sewing we must be very creative, flexible and adaptable. Some are guided by specific patterns others by pieces already made and even some work by calculation, whatever your method is the important thing is to achieve the goal.
En esta última foto que les muestro, se darán cuenta que ese día teníamos una salida familiar y decidí ir en combinación con mi esposo. Tenemos un matrimonio amigo que suele hacer este tipo de combinaciones y lucen muy bien, en imitación a ellos y que la oportunidad se prestaba, lo hicimos y quedé complacida con el resultado. ¿Ustedes qué piensan?

In this last picture I show you, you will notice that that day we had a family outing and I decided to go in combination with my husband. We have a married couple friend who usually do this kind of combinations and they look great, in imitation of them and that the opportunity lent itself, we did it and I was pleased with the result.
