Golden and Crispy Pockets of Joy- Khasta Kachori!

    I wish all the hive family to be healthy and happy...

    So guys today is the last day of the month March and April is going to start. A new month with New plans and hope. . .

    Today I thought to Make Khasta Kachori at home. We used to buys these kachoris and samosas most of the time from the shops only because it takes lot of time to prepare.
    But now a days I am bored of eating the shop kachoris. So thought to make these khasta kachori at home. Guys it is lengthy process but once you take the bite of savory kachori, you will fall in love with these cute small fried pies and then you

    Crispy and flaky Kachoris are a great snacks and can be kept for 2 to 3 days in normal temperature. Kachoris are small circle shape snaks stuffed with Lentil(moongdal) and spices. Its so flavourful that every people of north Indian loved this snacks . It a popular snack that is enjoyed throughout India.

    So lets start to make the kachoris-


    INGREDIENTS-

    Moongdal-½cup (soaked for 2 hours)
    Greenchili-3 to 4
    Ginger-½inch
    Fennel seeds-1tspn
    Cumin seeds-1tspn
    Asofedita -½tspn
    Coriander powder-½tbspn
    Dry mango powder-½tbspn
    Garam masala-½tspn
    All purpose flour-1cup
    Clarified butter-2tbspn
    Salt-to the taste


    METHOD-

    1.take soaked moongdal and strain the water.

    2.cut greenchili and ginger.

    3.In a mixer grinder grind to a coarse paste.

    4.keep aside.

    4.now in a bowl take all purpose flour.

    5.add salt and clarified butter.

    6.mix all well and make sure the flour is moist.

    7.now add required water and knead a soft and smooth dough.

    8.grease the dough with some oil and cover it for 30 to 45 mins.

    9.now heat a pan. Add feenel seeds, whole red chili, cumin seeds and roast it for 2 to 3 mins till spices turns aromatic.

    10.off the flame and grind it.

    11.now heat oil in a pan .

    12.add cumin seeds, asofedita and chopped green chili.

    13.now add coarse paste of moongdal.

    14.mix it.

    15.now add redchili powder,coriander seeds, dry mango powder,

    16.further add salt, the spices powder which we grind previously .

    17.Now add Garam masala.

    18.cook for 5 min untill the dal is combined.

    19.now off the flame. The moongdal stuffing is ready.

    20.now knead the dough and take small ball sized dough. Flat it with hand or roll it out gently in a Small ball size.

    21.make moongdal stuffing in a small balls shapes so that it will be easy to put the stuffing.

    22.now place a small sized stuffing.

    23.now start to pleat and seal it very carefully and tighly as shown in the pic

    24.now prepare all the kachoris and place them in a plate.

    25.heat oil in kadhai and drop the kachoris in hot oil.

    26.keep the flame on low. Flip and fry from the both sides.

    27.fry until the kachoris are golden brown in color and crisp

    28.Drain it in tissue paper.

    29.finally enjoy the khasta Kachoris with Tamarind chutney.

    Transfer the kachoris in a serving plate and Enjoy!!!!
