Happy Sunday every body.
We were preparing to go to Berlin today but it's such bad weather today that we decided to go tomorrow. It was snowing this morning and after that came ice rain. That weather system would have followed us all the way to Berlin today. So we had a nice and quiet day watching some series on the sofa underneath a blanket.
But for today, I will show you some pictures from Santander on the North coast of Spain. After a nice walk trough the city of Santander and visiting a couple of museums, I came out in the harbor. It was the end of the day and rain was predicted to come just before sunset. And that's what I was waiting for. I hoped the clouds would be nice but it turned out to not that bad.
This area seems to be a nice place for a afternoon stroll. It's probably also much cooler in summer next to the water.
Lovely view over the water and the mountains of Northern Spain. I think it was Saja-Besaya Natural Park. But that also could be more to the other side.
There comes the rain.
And of course a lot of industry around the harbor.
I wanted to go to the maritime museum but to bad it was closed. I thought I bought one ticket that could give me excess to three different kinds of museums. It was a pretty good deal for a rainy day. But then you need to be there on time and on the correct day. Traveling of season is not always a good idea.
So I kept walking around that area. Spotted some nice reflections and buildings on my way.
And back along the harbor of the city. Already some daredevils on the water. And that so close to the weather turning over.
The yacht club had a nice place for their club house.
And along the boulevard, there were some art installations.
From a distance this formed a portrait of someone. It looked familiar but it's probably a local.
I like these status of the people. I wouldn't mined standing here all day.
The status are swimming here, you think you would take a swim here along the boulevard? ore is this for boats to let of passengers?
