Cine TV Contest #97 - Movie About Loss

in voilk •  4 months ago

    Hello CineTV

As I am currently transitioning to a new job, I have been thinking al lot about how we trade time and energy for money. I would love it if you all would send some positive vibes my way as I look. I'm sure something will come along and it has to be better than what I am leaving behind. :D

There are so many movies about money that I thought you all would have no problem finding one. And I think I was pretty spot on. I want to thank you all for entering and for the variety of your choices.

    Let's get to the winners!

    First Place

The first place finisher was @lvadlr with a choice of The Hustle, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@lvadlr/the-hustle-maestras-del-engano-cinetvcontest

I absolutely loved this choice because I hadn't heard about it and it fit the contest perfectly. I do not condone hustling others out of their money but I certainly want to see this movie after your review. Thank you!

    Second Place

The second place finisher was @culebro with a choice of The White Tiger found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@culebro/cinetv-contest-the-white-tiger

Another film that I haven't seen and I found the review and storyline to be captivating. Thanks so much and congrats!

    Third Place

The third place finisher was @pashinni with their choice of 21 Blackjack, found here: https://peakd.com/hive-121744/@pashinni/cinetv-contest-21-blackjack-engesp

Welcome back! 21 Blackjack is a great film and a great choice about making money. Thanks!

    Congrats!

450 CINE COINS will be transferred to the winners.

    Movie About Loss

As you know, I usually pick a contest that relates to something that is happening in my real life. And unfortunately I lost my Aunt a couple of days ago. I felt like it was not appropriate for me to use "favorite" in this contest because this is a pretty sad topic.

So I am asking for you to pick a movie that deals with loss. Tell us about the movie and how you relate to the film. Does this movie deal with loss appropriately or not? How does it help or hurt you in times of loss? What feelings does this movie bring to your mind?

I look forward to reading all of your selections!

Please check out the list of rules and suggestions below or feel free to ask me in the Discord channel if you have any questions (caulderfreeman). Enjoy this week's contest and good luck!
