Greeted With Tiger's Fangs

Greetings to all Hive friends! I hope you are all healthy and blessed.

My story is that when I first joined Hive, I often traveled to work passing various unique natural features, but actually there were still things stored that I only discovered yesterday. This was a "surprise encounter", unexpected and unthinkable for me.

When I was traveling home, I was walking along a highway with a downhill position and I was struck by a sight on the left side of the road, a tiger's mouth gaping and showing its fangs. "1.jpeg"

I was shocked and almost jumped off the motorbike, I thought it was real but after I stopped the motorbike, I realized that this was just a statue. "2.jpeg"

I was amazed by the view, it turned out there were so many carvings of various statues, resembling animal and human shapes, if you like watching cartoon series then you definitely know Donald Duck. "3.jpeg"

My cellphone camera kept shooting from every side. One interesting thing was when my aim was at the shape of a statue resembling a human wearing red clothes, carrying a sword and staff, on its body hung a white skull carving. "5.jpeg"

Regarding this statue, it is a symbol of "traditional clothing" in our area. The beginning of the formation of culture and the first people in the "Minahasa tribe" (the name of our region). Just like a warrior who fought to defend our land with a spear and sword is a defense. This is a form of traditional preservation with the aim of allowing the younger generation to get to know regional culture.

Still regarding culture, my aim was at an owl. "9.jpeg" "10.jpeg" This is the main symbol of my area.

If you love eagles, this one is for you. "11.jpeg"

A pig is looking for food. "12.jpeg"

Your area probably has a pond and you like geese, so like this one. "13.jpeg"

    Horse lovers. "15.jpeg"

    Male and female deer. "17.jpeg"

The image of a human statue also shows its beauty "18.jpeg"

I realized deeply that this was the greatest work of art that existed in my area, even though I did not get to meet the creator, but with his hands and imagination he could create something amazing.

It's not easy to express yourself with clay if you don't have skills and learning. This is a work that must be introduced universally and its name may be included in the national art directorate.

I took the front side for the last and I hope that someday I can meet its maker. Great art from down the hill, unknown but extraordinary.
