Hello to my Lifestyle Community. This is my first post in this Community. Today I am going to share our Cultural and traditional Chapel "Tiley Wali Khairi".
This is the famous Chapel ( Shoes) that we wear on special occasions like Eid days or Wedding Ceremonies. In the era of the Mughal Emperors, people used to wear these Special Chapels. But with time some changes have been made to this Tiley Wali Khairi.
This special Tiley Wali Khairi is a symbol of our rich culture and tradition. They reside in central Punjab Pakistan wear this special Chapel. The artwork and embroidery crafted on this Chapel are awesome.
There are special cobblers in our area who prepare this cultural chapel with leather. The price of this chapel is 5K PKR nowadays which is still a reasonable price.
This chapel is not only beautiful and well-decorated but it is also a comfortable Chapel. There are types of these Tiley wali khairi. One is white and the other is golden in colour. But I like white Chapel.
Today was a special day for us. It was the wedding ceremony of my brother one of my close friends Asif Khan. I wear this cultural chapel under a white dress. It was a nice match. Here are some pictures.
Tiley wali Khairi is not just a sandal it connects us to our past. Pakistani culture is incomplete without this special chapel and we are lucky that we celebrate our culture. This special sandal reminds us of our ancestors. Our ancestors left this wonderful gift for us and we would like to hand this special cultural heritage to our upcoming generation.
