Having friends can be so easy for some people; they find it so easy to do, and to some other people, it's like hell. They find it so difficult to have friends.
We are talking about the three categories of people we have. Extroverts are people who can easily mingle with other people because of their unique characters. Making friends with these kinds of people can be so easy; even if you don't talk to them, they will talk to you, and they are mostly playful. We also have the ambivert; these people are in between; they can be alone and also make friends, unlike extroverts, who can never be alone. Ambiverts make friends, but not immediately. And we have the last one, who happens to be an introvert. These kinds of people love their own space and find it so hard to make friends. If you are their friend, you might think they have grudges against you because they can easily get mood swings.
As a person, I fall into the second category of people. I don't usually have friends, but when I do, I hold on to them. I'm this kind of person who finds it so hard to make friends; don't get it twisted, I love to have friends. But before you can become my friend, there are some things I do look for in people.
I have come to know that most of my good friends happens without notice. For instance, those that I make in my national youth service corps. If you ask me how we got close, then I will not be able to answer that question. But all of a sudden we became very good friends, and now we aren't together anymore, but we still enjoy each other and we still chat because we do have a group we used to talk to.
Making friends isn't easy for me, but once I make them, I do not let go of them. If we aren't online and you meet me offline, you will definitely think I don't talk, but if you happen to be my friend, you will know I can play for Africa. I mean, I play a lot.
Apart from that, there are some things I do to people before they become my friends; I do not just make friends, even if I want to make one. I make sure most of my friends have brains and are worth it. Friendship should be there for each other, so if you happen to be my friend, it's more like we are family.
One of the reasons to make me have a few friends is that, as my friend, I would have seen you as someone I could share everything with, even my secrets. Friendship means a lot to me, but it's not everyone I can do these things with. So I know a lot of people but have very few friends.
Most of my friends see my problem as their own; we are always there for each other, financially and physically, in every aspect of life. That is why I don't have many friends. It will be so hard for you to see someone who will be there for you 100 percent because so many people just want to know your secret, and then boom, they disappear.
There are so many fake people and fake friends now, and even they will say you are their friend and take advantage of you. So these are my definitions of friendships.
