¡Hola Chicos!
En el mes de mayo recibimos en nuestra cuenta de Instagram de Convinarte el mensaje de una señora preguntando el costo de la actividad. En un principio pensamos que era por la que se iba a llevar a cabo en ese momento pero no, ella preguntaba por los eventos privados.
Desde hace tiempo veníamos pensando lanzar una publicidad ofreciendo el servicio de pintura para eventos privados (que hasta el sol de hoy no ha salido a la luz 😅) y fue genial que se nos acercaran con este interés sin haberlo promocionado.
Al momento pensábamos que eso no iba a fluir y que quedaría en una simple pregunta de alguien curioso, pero la verdad es que no fue así.
La señora formalizó semanas después, mostrando gran interés en que nos reuniéramos para fijar ciertas pautas de la actividad y que al mismo tiempo le diéramos recomendaciones para ejecutarla.
Quedamos en vernos en un restaurant llamado Oliva Garden, ubicado en el centro de Ciudad Ojeda. Para esta reunión la señora que nos había contactado no iba a poder asistir porque debía ir al médico a un chequeo.

In the month of May we received on our Instagram account of Convinarte the message from a lady asking the cost of the activity. At first we thought it was for the one that was going to take place at that time but no, she was asking about private events.
For some time we had been thinking of launching an advertisement offering the painting service for private events (which to this day has not come to light 😅) and it was great that they approached us with this interest without having promoted it.
At the time we thought that this was not going to flow and that it would remain a simple question from someone curious, but the truth is that it was not so.
The lady formalized weeks later, showing great interest in meeting us to set certain guidelines for the activity and at the same time give her recommendations for its execution.
We arranged to meet at a restaurant called Oliva Garden, located in the center of Ciudad Ojeda. For this meeting the lady who had contacted us was not going to be able to attend because she had to go to the doctor for a check-up.
Aunque había pasado varias veces por el sitio donde estaba ubicado la verdad nunca noté la presencia de este restaurante.
Y la verdad tampoco sabía en qué parte exactamente se encontraba. Así que al llegar le preguntamos a un señor que trabajaba en la vigilancia del centro comercial para saber cómo llegar.
Nos indicó unas escaleras y dijo que al subirla nos encontraríamos con una puerta donde está el restaurante.
Efectivamente al subir las escaleras encontramos esta puerta donde en el interior podíamos ver un cartel que decía Oliva Garden.

Al pasar la puerta nos encontramos con un largo pasillo iluminado. Tenía unas lindas lámparas, y a lo largo del pasillo se notaba que habían varias mesas y sillas.
No teníamos ni idea que el restaurante era todo ese pasillo más los salones que se veían a los lados. Así que nos sentamos en la primera mesa que encontramos a esperar que llegaran las personas que nos contactaron.
As we passed through the door we found a long lighted hallway. It had some nice lamps, and along the hallway we noticed that there were several tables and chairs.
We had no idea that the restaurant was all that hallway plus the rooms that could be seen on the sides. So we sat down at the first table we found to wait for the people who had contacted us to arrive.
Sabía que debía aprovechar ese tiempo a solas para tomar todas las fotos que pudiera del sitio, porque una vez que llegaran las personas que estábamos esperando no íbamos a tener una oportunidad para hacerlo cómodamente.
I knew I had to take advantage of that time alone to take as many photos of the site as I could, because once the people we were waiting for arrived we weren't going to have a chance to do it comfortably.
Al cabo de unos minutos apareció el primer señor. Él comenzó a darnos una pequeña introducción de lo que sería la fundación con la que trabaja. Estas personas quieren hacer la actividad para recaudar fondos en beneficio al hospital de la ciudad.
Por diversas razones este hospital tiene muchas carencias y ellos como fundación sin fines de lucro han estado realizando una serie de actividades para recaudar fondos y poder darle una mejora a esos espacios.
Ellos nos ofrecieron algo de tomar por lo que yo elegí un jugo de melón. No estamos acostumbradas a esta clase de atenciones pero lo recibimos de muy buena manera.
Así comenzamos a dejar ciertas reglas y condiciones para que la actividad se pudiera llevar a cabo.
After a few minutes the first man appeared. He began to give us a little introduction of what the foundation he works with is all about. These people want to do the activity to raise funds for the benefit of the city hospital.
For various reasons this hospital has many deficiencies and they as a non-profit foundation have been doing a series of activities to raise funds and to be able to give an improvement to these spaces.
They offered us something to drink so I chose a melon juice. We are not used to this kind of attention but we received it very well.
So we started to leave certain rules and conditions so that the activity could take place.
El restaurante era súper bonito y tenía un ambiente bastante cálido y cómodo.
Los dos señores que nos atendieron nos hablaron maravillas de su fundación y de la obra que están haciendo. Esto nos agradó bastante porque se asemeja a nuestros pensamientos e ideales.
Nos pareció buena la idea y accedimos a llevarla a cabo.
The restaurant was super nice and had a very warm and comfortable atmosphere.
The two gentlemen who served us told us wonderful things about their foundation and the work they are doing. This pleased us a lot because it is similar to our thoughts and ideals.
We thought it was a good idea and agreed to carry it out.
Dentro del restaurante hay un salon para eventos privados. En él es que se va a efectuar el próximo evento.
Los señores nos mostraron el espacio y nos preguntaron la forma en la que podríamos distribuir las mesas para la actividad.
En este caso intervine yo pues soy la que va a dar la clase y sé cuáles son las necesidades para estos momentos.
Inside the restaurant there is a room for private events. This is where the next event is going to take place.
The gentlemen showed us the space and asked us how we could distribute the tables for the activity.
In this case I intervened because I am the one who is going to teach the class and I know what the needs are for these moments.
El encargado del restaurante nos acompañó en todo momento y nos explicó las bondades de este salón.
Teníamos todo lo que necesitábamos a mano, incluyendo una fuente de agua para poder lavar los pinceles durante la actividad.
The restaurant manager accompanied us at all times and explained the benefits of this room.
We had everything we needed at hand, including a water fountain to wash our brushes during the activity.
Nos mostraron absolutamente todo del sitio incluyendo los baños. La verdad era un espacio bastante amplio y cómodo.
Además contaba con muy buena iluminación, algo súper importante para el correcto desarrollo de la actividad.
They showed us absolutely everything about the place including the bathrooms. The truth is that it was a very spacious and comfortable space.
It also had very good lighting, something very important for the correct development of the activity.
Nos sentamos un rato para terminar de afinar detalles y para conocer un poco más o menos a cada uno de ellos.
Es importante saber con quién se está trabajando. Para finalizar la reunión nos tomamos una foto para el recuerdo y también para tener la documentación para nuestras redes sociales.

Quedamos bien tranquilas con lo que nos ofrecieron en el momento y con las cosas que habíamos pensado desarrollar durante el proceso.
Se nota que son personas comprometidas con sus causas y que harán todo lo posible para que las cosas funcionen.
Fue una buena reunión, donde se plantearon metas bastante prometedoras. Pronto les he estaré contando más sobre esto.
We were very satisfied with what they offered us at the time and with the things we had planned to develop during the process.
You can tell that they are committed to their causes and that they will do everything possible to make things work.
