Están sucediendo cosas muy locas con la IA, cosas geniales, innovadoras y algunas un poco extrañas también jajaja. Hace unos días vi un tweet de @lisnavarrob donde comentaba sobre un concurso de belleza con inteligencia artificial con premios valorados en $20k, inmediatamente me llamó la atención porque a priori pensé que las participantes serían chicas que además de su belleza, trabajan con IA y lideran en su área, pero para mi sorpresa, al leer la noticia me di cuenta de que las participantes serían modelos GENERADAS con inteligencia artificial. Inmediatamente mi mente hizo 🤯

Crazy things are happening with AI, cool things, innovative and some a bit strange too hahaha. A few days ago I saw a tweet from @lisnavarrob where he commented about a beauty contest with artificial intelligence with prizes valued at $20k, it immediately caught my attention because a priori I thought that the participants would be girls that besides their beauty, work with AI and lead in their area, but to my surprise, when I read the news I realized that the participants would be models GENERATED with artificial intelligence. Immediately my mind went 🤯

Me quedé pensativa varios días, hasta que navegando en instagram me apareció nuevamente la noticia, en esta oportunidad compartida por el proyecto playground. Volví a abrirla para analizar todo, pero esta vez tomando en cuenta los detalles y mi mente volvió a explotar jajaja. Lo primero que captó mi interés fue que las concursantes serán juzgados por belleza, tecnología e influencia, siendo la "influencia" lo que más llamó mi atención.

I remained thoughtful for several days, until I surfed instagram and the news appeared again, this time shared by the playground project. I opened it again to analyze everything, but this time taking into account the details and my mind exploded again hahaha. The first thing that caught my interest was that the contestants will be judged by beauty, technology and influence, being the "influence" what caught my attention the most.

¿Cómo puede tener influencia una modelo generada con IA? Pues les cuento, resulta que desde hace un tiempo, distintas marcas, proyectos e incluso entusiastas de la inteligencia artificial, se han dedicado a crear modelos y venderlas como "influencers" en las redes sociales, creándoles toda una vida que aunque no es real, se vende como tal y esto ha llamado la atención de millones de personas en el mundo, haciendo que estas "influencers" tengan miles de seguidores en sus redes sociales, sí... muchísimos más que tu y yo que somos de carne y hueso 😂

How can an AI-generated model have influence? Well, let me tell you, it turns out that for some time now, different brands, projects and even artificial intelligence enthusiasts, have been creating models and selling them as "influencers" on social networks, creating a whole life for them that although it is not real, it is sold as such and this has caught the attention of millions of people in the world, making these "influencers" have thousands of followers on their social networks, yes... many more than you and I who are flesh and blood 😂

El engagement de la modelo con sus seguidores en las redes sociales, las habilidades de su creador con el uso de la IA, la belleza y respuestas de la modelo a las preguntas del jurado (sí, tal cual como un concurso de belleza tradicional), serán claves para elegir a la ganadora del Miss IA 2024. Además, el jurado está compuesto por 4 "personas" y utilizo las comillas porque dos de ellas son influencers de instagram generadas con IA que tienen más de 200k de seguidores en sus cuentas 🤯

The engagement of the model with her followers on social networks, the skills of its creator with the use of AI, the beauty and answers of the model to the questions of the jury (yes, just like a traditional beauty contest), will be key to choose the winner of Miss AI 2024. Also, the jury is composed of 4 "people" and I use quotation marks because two of them are AI-generated instagram influencers who have more than 100k followers on their accounts 🤯

Como buena curiosa que soy me di la tarea de investigar a ambas modelos en instagram y me ha impactado el nivel que han alcanzado, incluso creando confusión con algunos de sus seguidores pues las imágenes se ven bastante realistas. Por un lado tenemos a Aitana López, creada por una agencia española que se dedica a crear modelos con IA. Aitana genera más de 3k euros al mes en colaboraciones con marcas, tal cuál como una influencer reconocida de la vida real.

As a curious person I took the task of investigating both models on instagram and I was shocked by the level they have reached, even creating confusion with some of their followers because the images look quite realistic. On one side we have Aitana Lopez, created by a Spanish agency dedicated to creating AI models. Aitana generates more than 3k euros per month in collaborations with brands, just like a recognized real-life influencer.

La otra modelo generada con IA que será parte del jurado es Emily Pellegrini quien generó más de 9k euros en sus primeras semanas de "vida" jajaja. Esto me encanta y a la vez me genera algunas otras emociones que aún no logro identificar, pero creo que las cosas nuevas siempre nos van a generar emociones abstractas, solo hay que saber aceptar los cambios e innovaciones y sacarles el mejor provecho. Emily también ha generado confusión en sus redes sociales, hasta el punto en que le han escrito deportistas profesionales y millonarios para invitarla a salir sin darse cuenta de que realmente no existe 🤣

The other AI generated model that will be part of the jury is Emily Pellegrini who generated more than 9k euros in her first weeks of "life" hahaha. I love this and at the same time it generates some other emotions that I still can't identify, but I think that new things will always generate abstract emotions, you just have to know how to accept changes and innovations and make the most of them. Emily has also generated confusion in her social networks, to the point that professional athletes and millionaires have written to her asking her out without realizing that she doesn't really exist 🤣

Más allá de detenerme a pensar en la evolución que esto tendrá en las redes sociales durante los próximos años (o meses), solo puedo pensar en una cosa... ¡HAY QUE APRENDER TODO SOBRE LA INTELIGENCIA ARTIFICIAL!

Esta herramienta será usada en la mayoría de los campos (o todos), seguirá evolucionando y veremos cada vez cosas más locas sucediendo, cosas que no imaginábamos y cosas que no creíamos posibles ver en esta época. El mundo como lo conocíamos está cambiando desde hace un buen rato, depende de nosotros si nos adaptamos a los cambios y evolucionamos con el o si nos resistimos y nos quedamos en el pasado. ¿Preparados para ver la final de la Miss IA 2024?
