Save me from evil. Today's review is one of the toughest, as it's a sad and scary game I've ever played.
The game focuses on the character of a young girl who ... has to leave school, but it is not easy, many locations change, and many are also hidden by creatures that prevent us from passing.
I went through this game without gameplay, (no record) on the one hand it's good because you didn't see my fear, on the other hand it will be the first and only review where I will put pictures from the internet (unfortunately the gameplay on vimm did not sign up)
The game is about the 60s in Taiwan during a storm, a young schoolgirl wakes up from her sleep and her worst nightmare begins. The game is a kind of vestibule of hell, it perfectly shows fear, conscience and an attempt to fix certain things.
Detention is, above all, a strong psychological horror in which we have to unravel the mystery, and believe me when you get to the end you will be scared, sad and a tear will pour out of your eyes.
The game is two-dimensional and we can control the character left and right, the game is linear and usually there is only one door open at a given stage to take something and run to the other room.
The game perfectly shows the world of war and martial law, where you can lose everything and life while reading forbidden books.
An Asian game that is not afraid of difficult topics, directly giving the player fear, but it is fear not caused by monsters, but by psychological fear, which is the mirror of conscience here.
Studio Red Candle Games, by seeing this game, absorbed the stories of that era and showed us what the nightmare of war may look like, the war that may be just around the corner.
A great game that will only take us about 4 hours, but the evocative dark color and penetrating, sometimes strange and terrifying images will cause a long drug (I'm afraid to look in the mirror while writing it) The game is strong because one word is enough to destroy all life.
There is also a very telling finale. The closer we get to the finale, the more we enter the depressive drama of war and manners from the psychological horror.
And the finale itself is chilling and some will be downright sad about this course of the creators. At this moment, there is no game more terrifying than this game, strange and eloquent at the same time, sad at times and trying to tell the scariest stories.
Granny belongs to the point n click genre, i.e. we have to move the mouse over an object and take it and use it elsewhere. When it comes to the scenery, they will be different from home school to the other side of the "mirror".
One mistake is enough to live in a nightmare that will be created and this is what the heroine of this game is like. A strong game, with terrifying moments that will be remembered for a long time, a depressive story about war and prohibitions about the lack of love and stupidity about sick governments and the loss of everything.

The creators in this little Indie simply shower us with various references or symbolism, and each one is very sad.
I recommend playing because after about 2 hours of horror movies we get a two-hour journey into the middle of hell. Currently, the game is free on EA pass
