Ways To Earn With P2E Account
Free To Play is fun and all. It is one way of trying the game without any investments. But you will soon find out that Splinterlands is more than just a fun game. It is a Web3 Play-To-Earn (P2E)g game. Once you decided to take the P2E route or having thoughts on it, here are the ways you can earn in Splinterlands. Reminder: This is not financial advice so please thread carefully.
Play-To-Earn in Splinterlands
With the purchase of the Summoner's Spellbook, you unlock the Play-To-Earn mode of the game. You can now transfer assets such as cards and land, buy and sell tokens such as DEC, Vouchers and SPS, and stake and earn SPS. All of these and more are the different things you can do with your account. As such, you can enjoy the game and tokenomics fully.
Earn SPS From Battles
Owning a SpellBook allows you to earn Splintershards (SPS) from every win. Of course, this is aside from the GLINTs you earn during your F2P days. The amount of SPS you receive depends on the SPS you staked in your account. To stake or check your SPS staked, click on the SPS Balance on top of your screen:
You will see this panel on your SPS Dashboard.
To stake SPS, click on Stake and enter the amount
Battle rewards will be effective immediately and you can enjoy earning SPS.
Earn Vouchers And SPS From Staking
Staking SPS will also reward you with SPS and Vouchers. Vouchers are used for buying cards in the Exclusive Shop. Staking Rewards can be claimed daily and will become liquid unlike the SPS you get from winning battles (Staked SPS).
Buy And Sell Cards
Since P2E accounts can transfer cards and assets, you can be able to buy and sell cards using Dark Energy Crystals (DEC). Those cards you bought with CREDITS can now be sold for DEC. Just go to your Items and select the cards you wish to sell:
Once you list your cards for sale. They will be available in the Splinterlands Market and Secondary Markets. They will be sold in DEC and will be credited to your account immediately after sale.
Rent Out Cards
For a steady income, you can rent out your cards. Renting in Splinterlands lasts for a minimum of 2 days so rest assured that your cards can be rented out for that amount of time. No matter how low level your card is, it can be rented out as the demand is steadily increasing. Once rented, the DEC will be immediately credited to your account.
Other Ways
Aside from the other means mentioned above, there are other ways to earn in Splinterlands and in HIVE blockchain. Here are some of it:
- Renting out SPS
- Liquidity Pools
- Posting Content on PeakD, Ecency and other HIVE Blog sites
- HDB Savings
- And many more
Closing
P2E opens a lot of opportunities to earn and enjoy the game. This is how amazing Web3 gaming is. There are no shame on having a F2P account, it's just one of the ways to play the game anyways. But if you do decide going P2E, I welcome you to the rich and vastness treasures of Splinterlands and HIVE.
