Hello there hive family its me again @chimegipamus, welcome back to my stories. It's been a busy week since May arrived. I hope you will still support this new blog of mine.
May is the fifth month of the year which means that we are about to be in the mid-year when it is all done. It is also the hottest month and I believe we experience it all. This month is one of the busiest as many members of our family celebrate their special days. Let me start with:
On the eighth day of this month, we celebrated our grandpa's birthday who was in heaven already. And in the afternoon we travel to Dumanjug to celebrate also another birthday of my husband's aunt. We arrived at their house by eight in the evening just to celebrate with them.
Before we head home the next day we first fetch some water on the only spring left due to so much heat some springs dried up. The scarcity of water in the mountains is a big problem right now. We also harvested some Indian mangos and Zambia to bring home and also brought two native chickens as a birthday gift for my hubby's birthday the next day.
Last May 10 was the culmination of everyone as my hubby celebrated his birthday too. I was very busy as I always prepare something for everyone.
Before my hubby's birthday, I prepared a lot, the groceries, the menus, decorations, cakes and everything as my mind can remember. The day came when I cooked all the menus with the help of Emily our neighbor and a church member. We cooked, pansit, fish fillet, pasta, estofado, mussels, roasted bangus ang squids, pork steak, native chicken soup, and crispy pork head. There were also mango floats and cakes with sodas.
We started preparing by 10 in the morning and finished at almost 5 pm. Everyone arrived by 5:30 in the afternoon as we were about to begin our prayer meeting and after it was a birthday celebration. Everybody enjoys the food and the fellowship together.
The next day we cleaned the place and finished some of the leftovers. Sunday is our church day and after the service, we were invited to visit our mother church.
On the 13th day, we also celebrated my sister's birthday. She is our youngest sibling but supports my mother like the eldest one. She is @iamaware, she prepares roasted pork and Jollibee chickens with spaghetti. We have also leftover whole cake and mango float. This is the fourth celebration we have this month.
We have our dinner together with my family. We enjoy the sweet talks and the food. This kind of occasion helps the bond of family.
We then finished it with goodbyes and a good night's rest.
But wait, there's more to celebrate this month, we also celebrated Mother's Day in our church too. There will be more invitations to respond from our friends and relatives before this month ends.
How about you? Do you have family members who celebrated their special day this month? Share it with me in the box below and take time to re-blog and give some upvotes.
That would be all for today see you on my next stories.
