Come, let’s take a walk around the Canadian Rockies. In my opinion, the mountains look great in colour or black and white. The black and whites tend to bring out the contrast a lot more, not to mention the timeless element or effect of photographing in that genre. One of the most famous black and white photographers of Mountain landscapes was Ansel Adams. Gaining fame in the 1920’s and 30’s. I’m a big fan of his work (no surprise right?). Colour photography never really took off until the forties and fifties, after he made his mark in the world. Photos taken inside Kananaskis country, Alberta, Canada.
