Christmas Portraits
Recientemente tuve la oportunidad de ser el fotógrafo durante un día para un grupo de artistas circenses. La sesión tenía una temática navideña, y algunos de ellos, con quienes tengo buena relación, lograron darle un toque especial al ambiente.
Recently, I had the opportunity to be the photographer for a day for a group of circus artists. The session had a Christmas theme, and some of them, with whom I have a good relationship, added a special touch to the atmosphere.
Lo primero que me llamó la atención fue el trabajo en sus maquillajes. Cada rostro estaba cuidadosamente elaborado, lleno de detalles que los convertían en personajes únicos. Mi trabajo consistía en capturar esas expresiones, esos momentos donde su esencia y su arte se reflejaban frente a la cámara.
The first thing that caught my attention was their makeup work. Each face was carefully crafted, full of details that transformed them into unique characters. My job was to capture those expressions, those moments where their essence and art were reflected in front of the camera.
Admiro el trabajo de estos artistas. Dedicar tu cuerpo, tu mente y todas tus herramientas corporales a darle vida a un show es definitivamente algo digno de admiración. (Yo también soy actor, así que comprendo lo que se siente).
I admire the work of these artists. Dedicating your body, mind, and every tool at your disposal to bring a show to life is truly admirable. (I’m also an actor, so I understand how it feels).
Fue una experiencia gratificante. Más allá de la temática navideña, el día estuvo lleno de energía y colaboración. Como fotógrafo, registrar estas imágenes no se trató solo de inmortalizar momentos, sino de reconocer y resaltar el esfuerzo de un grupo de personas apasionadas por lo que hacen.
It was a gratifying experience. Beyond the Christmas theme, the day was full of energy and collaboration. As a photographer, capturing these images wasn’t just about immortalizing moments, but about recognizing and highlighting the effort of a group of people passionate about what they do.
Una sesión sencilla, pero llena de buenos recuerdos.
