Today I will tell you about my little journey along the banks of the Deze River. This river flows through the town of Skortse, where I now live and work. This small provincial town is unremarkable. Did you know that the world-famous San Benedicto mineral water is produced here?
There were heavy rains and downpours across Europe. Floods began, which caused a terrible disaster. People lost their homes, property, and also their lives... the same disaster in Italy... Emilia Romagna suffered the most...
In my province, thank God, there was no flood, except that the water in the rivers rose a little. I had a desire to ride my bicycle along the Deze river. There is a road for cyclists and pedestrians.

Сьогодні розповім вам про свої маленьку мандрівку берегом річки Дезе. Ця річка протікає через містечко Скорце, де я зараз живу і працюю. Це невеличке провінційне містечко нічим не примітне. Хіба тим відоме, що тут виробляють відому на весь світ мінеральну воду Сан Бенедикто.
По всій Європі пройшли потужні дощі та зливи. Почалися повені, що наробили страшного лиха. Люди втратили свої домівки, майно, а також і життя... така сама біда і в Італії... найбільше постраждала Емілья Романья...
В моїй провінції, слава Богу, повені не було, хіба трохи піднялася вода в річках. Я мала бажання проїхатися на своєму велосипеді вздовж річки Дезе. Там розташована дорога для велосипедистів та пішоходів.

Red-eared river turtles rested on an islet of grass caught on some root. They basked in the sun, putting up their brilliant shells.
На острівці з трави, що зачепилася за якийсь корінь відпочивали червоновухі річкові черепахи. Вони грілися на сонечку, підставивши свої блискучі панцирі.
There have been four mills on the river since ancient times. The river did its job well, setting mechanisms in motion with the power of water. Now the mills do not perform their direct function. The buildings are well preserved. I stood by the locks for a long time, watching the water break free, gurgling, creating funnels. The sound of water drowns out everything around. I saw two of the four mills. This is the Mulino Pamio ora Michieletto mill.
На річці з давних давен стоять чотири млини. Річка добре виконувала свою роботу, силою води приводячи в рух механізми. Зараз млини не виконують своєї прямої функції. Будівлі добре збережені. Біля шлюзів я стояла довгий час дивлячись, як вода виривається на волю, клекочучи, створюючи воронки. Шум води заглушує все довкола. Я бачила два з чотирьох млинів. Це млин Mulino Pamio ora Michieletto.
After a short drive along the winding river, I arrived at Mulino Todori. This mill is slightly larger than the previous one. He drowns in wild nature because there is a park nearby. It is quiet and peaceful here, only the roar of the water breaks this silence. Now a hotel is located in the building of the former mill. It is good that the mills have a different life and do not fall apart over time. Several centuries have passed for the mills. Now there are four of them, and earlier there were twenty mills working on the Deze River.
Трохи проїхавши вздовж звивистої річки, я прибула до Mulino Todori. Цей млин трохи більший за попередній. Він потопає в дикій природі тому що поряд знаходиться парк. Тут тихо і спокійно тільки гуркіт води порушує цю тишу. Зараз в будівлі колишнього млина зосереджено готель. Добре, що млини мають інше життя, а не розвалюються від часу. Млинам минуло по кілька століть. Зараз їх залишилось чотири а раніше на річці Дезе працювало двадцять млинів.
A nice short nature walk is complete. It's time to go home.
