On a very dull and damp early February day, we took a trip to Chessington World of Adventures. In the winter months, only the zoo is open, and none of the rides are available.
There are some nice specimens here. Some large and impressive animals are to be seen. However, the weather today was not so good, and it began to drizzle heavily so we headed for cover inside the Sealife centre.
It was nice and warm in there and good to get away from the rain to dry off a bit.
I was amazed by the fish with a very long trailing dorsal fin. I was surprised that the other fish had not taken chunks out of it or even eaten it! 😆
We enjoyed a nice lunch in one of the fastfood restaurants here, providing a great service to everyone looking for a hot meal in the cold conditions. We had a nice time of course but it is always a relief to arrive back home on days like this!
