Hello friends ❤️! Politics is something we have seen and experienced around us in many ways and forms. Some good motives others are exhibited with nonchalant attitude.
Many of us are born leaders which might not be practically political inclined , but if given the chance with opportunities could do better than others whose mindsets are not on good direction to lead with decisions that are genuine because leadership is something that comes with pressure and decision making.
Thinking of what politics is all about makes and gives me serious thoughts 💭 of how can people like me involve in politics because I don’t see myself as one that can cope with the mind games that are played in the field and seat 💺 of politics. Although it might have been possible to be a part of the the leadership group of any if am not a citizen of the country I come from.
First and foremost, I never know that politics is one that is full of manipulation, lies, dirty games, deception, cheating, and all other acts that are involved just for the sack of being a leader or in a position. Because we were taught in political science 🧫 of how leadership is by election, the leader being chose by the people. This means as a leader the people you are leading or making decisions on behalf would have choosing you. But coming to know and see how politics are run in my country after schooling and as an adult citizen of a country is so disturbing, discouraging and not motivating.
For me politics is not supposed to be just a call for power holding, high social class status and the creation of a gap between the rich and the poor , but a status of representation of the people of a country, community, lineage and other seats 💺 that needs a frontman who can direct things according to how it will favor everyone.
Therefore by this view If I find myself in a political position by chance which I know is great responsibility, I don’t think I will be able to live to be that genuine person I have decided and chosen to be in life because in the seat 💺 of politics you can never chose to stand alone. It is better you abstain yourself from the beginning, because in politics its a different ball 🏀 game. Truth and straightforward lifestyle is sold to deity lifestyle, corruption is carried out in the open because shame and conscience are sold
For many years now, the leadership in my country has continued to decline, because things are not done accordingly. The system has been so corrupted that those who preached righteousness before they eventually entered politics has joined the band and the music 🎶 steps. The issue here being that those who have been there don’t want to leave, so those joining them are forced to follow their dance 💃 steps.
However, the ruling party is where the problem and issues are. If a candidate is not of the ruling party there is this general believe that new candidates coming from any other party as a candidate will not be choosing even if the person wins. Corruption is in broad daylight with forces from the bigger dogs who believe nothing can happen. So it is either you join them or you don’t start what you can not finish. Nigeria 🇳🇬 my country is not a place for upright politics. I rather save myself the stress , using the time to channel and focus on better things that will help me achieve genuinely .
