    Health Is Wealth

    Surely, there's no phrase that is more true than that.
    Especially now when diseases are everywhere and price of medicine is on an everlasting bullrun.
    Keeping check of ones health and staying fit is a goal that everyone should be sure to make or keep.
    The @leo.tasks #marchinleo prompt for today encourages us to talk all about our health.

    Healthy Living can be defined in different ways and it can be identified in different aspects of life.
    Yet for the purpose of this post, I'll define healthy living according to Brittanica's definition.

    Healthy living means living life, while making choices that results in a healthier body and mind.

    Now there are plenty methods with which some people can help obtain and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
    These methods, help build the body and the mind, increasing your overall well-being ✨
    Like I mentioned beforehand these methods are numerous but to keep in line with this prompt I'll speak on just two of them.


    - Working Out / Weight Lifting

    I feel there are some misconceptions about the terms "working out" and "lifting weights".
    They are not the same as many regular people thought them to be.
    For one major difference is that "working out" is a term used to group series of different exercises for different part of the body while lifting weights is the repetitive lifting of waits in anticipation of building a particular muscles strength.
    Another notable difference is the fact that work outs, due to them being a series of other exercises, burn calories and fat easier and faster than weight lifting which primary focus is on building strong cores and muscles.

    Regardless, they both help in keeping one's body and mind fit.
    Lifting weights or doing sets of easy exercises help one's body, clearly, by keeping fit and reducing fat.
    On the mind, these exercises can be somewhat therapeutic.
    In contrast to the hustle and hustle of the normal world on screens, just a few hours of alone time in the gym really helps in improving moods and mindsets.


    - Running

    This is one activity which I'm so in love with.
    An activity, that has been an exercise since the dawn of time. Used by cavemen when chasing their prey or being chased by predators and now it's a must have in the Olympic sport or a 5 year old's basic inter-house sports.
    Running is one movement that's beneficial to man, helpful in both the physical and the mental.
    Physically, running is an aerobic exercise, this it helps in distribution of blood flow, strengthens the lungs and heart, it also helps your legs and calves, it's a true golden exercise.
    Mentally though, running's powers come to light.

    If one's running on a machine -say a threadmill- indoors, then he or she has some silent alone time to think.
    Putting on his headsets, he can simply move, knowing that the process is just putting one step in front of the other.
    These 30 minutes run are prime brainstorm periods for most runners as when the only thing you can hear are the music, your heartbeats and your thoughts, well inspiration has no choice but to flow.

    Then if he or she is having an outside run, the experience with nature and the environment is always something.
    Running outside by the early hours of 6am is always stimulating because one is catching the first rays of sunlight and dawn, seeing the world waking up and just enjoying life at that point. Mentally and physically, running makes you happy 😊.

    Like I pointed at the beginning of this post, one must always find a way to live healthily.
    Running and Working out are just two ways to do it, there are diets, checkups, and plenty other exercises one can use to get his or her health on track 👨‍⚕️
