Hi Everyone!
The Tech realm is ever evolving and keeping ourselves up-to-date with all the new info is extremely important. We could do the same by attending events, workshops and tech-talks. And I got the golden chance to expand my knowledge horizons by volunteering at a major tech event organised collectively by Google Developer Student Clubs (GDSC's) from all across the state of Delhi-NCR, GDSC WoW 2024 (aka GDSC Wonder of Wonders).
The event was divided in three main domain tracks:
- Discover: for discovering emerging technologies.
-Design: to learn about the fundamentals and applications of product and UI/UX design in tech realm.
-Develop:to learn about the current technologies being used in development of applications and how we can leverage them.The experience was truly exhilarating.
I attended the events primarily from discover track, and explored the realm of AI/ML (Large Language Models, applications of ai), Startup building, Augmented and Extended reality. I truly enjoyed each of the sessions and the learnings brought forward by them. I specifically enjoyed the panel discussion consisting of Sandeep Jain, Founder of GeeksforGeeks. For an aspiring entrepreneur like me, the session provided deep insights on startup ecosystem and how to build a product from scratch.
One more thing that caught my curiosity as a Web3 enthusiast was the session and info about/by Hive, the title sponsor for GDSC WoW 2024. I got to know how hive is the most decentralised blockchain and how their wallet addresses are easy to remember unlike other blockchains. I'd like to explore more about them in detail.
