These images are an year old. I photographed these in the old Jaffo and in Haifa during the celebrations of Christmas.
Last week was very busy in a good way. I spent all the evenings with my family members and with my friends. Very different events, very different reasons to meet. One of the evenings i photographed during my friend's new movie premiere. The documentary movie is about one of the first cinemas in TelAviv. "The cinema Ester" was located in the heart of the central part of the city - Dizengoff Square. The building of the cinema is still exist, just renewed and "converted" to Hotel - Cinema Hotel.
"Each and every corner of this hotel is an invitation to indulge in nostalgic memories of cinematic history with huge photographs, newspaper clippings, antique cameras and posters from the early days of Israeli cinema. Tel Aviv's typical Bauhaus architecture envelops guests with its cultural wealth as all 83 rooms allude to the glamorous days on the big screen. A breathtaking rooftop view of Dizengoff Square completes the magic for a glamorous city getaway" (from the Hotel's site - https://www.atlas.co.il/en/our-hotels/hotels-in-tel-aviv/cinema-hotel-tel-aviv/).
Now, when i learned from the movie about the wonderful history of this building, i have to ask the permissions to photograph the inside of it. Should be exiting.
