Cycling Saturday: April 13 2024

Hello everyone! Pozdrav svima!

Today I continued teaching my younger son (kid no. 4) how to ride a bike with pedals. We did a full circle around the neighbourhood with me hunched over the whole time, pushing it whenever he got stuck. At that was ever few meters! 😆

By the end of the tour he got more and more self-reliant and didn't need me to push him whenever he needed to start going.

But all that effort took its toll, he was really tired and started whining about his sore legs. Since we were practically in front of out building, I encouraged him to hold on a little longer and assured him that I would carry him upstairs to the apartment if he managed to make it to the entrance on his own. 💪

He clenched his teeth, pushed on the pedals, and made it to the entrance! Oh, how happy he was!
And I was happy for him too, all the way until around the third floor, when my happiness faded away and was replaced by misery because of soreness in MY legs. 🤣

He fell asleep soon after he told all about his big achievement to his brothers and sisters.
