🖊️ COMMENTARY

Another key to experiencing the higher life in Christ is a divine encounter.
In Gal 2:1-2 the apostle spoke about the Revelation he had

Then fourteen years after I went up again to Jerusalem with Barnabas, and took Titus with me also. And I went up by revelation, and communicated unto them that gospel which I preach among the Gentiles, but privately to them which were of reputation, lest by any means I should run, or had run, in vain (Galatians 2:1-2).

The Apostle Paul had an encounter that gave him an edge over other apostles.

In the kingdom of God, we go up by revelation. If you want to rise higher in life you must seek a higher level of encounter and enlightenment This is a spiritual secret by which dominion is established.

It is on the strength of the mystery of the kingdom that we command dominion.

Another key is that of strategic connection Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 has these to say:

two are better than one; because they have a good reward for their labour. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow: but woe to him that is alone when he falls; for he has nobody to help him up.

Strategic connectivity and relationships can hasten your arrival at the next level in life.

The last is humility.
In James 4:6-10, the Bible says,

But he gives more grace. Wherefore he says, God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.

Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up. Pride destroys but humility is a lifter of men.

These three keys - divine encounter, strategic connection, and humility - are essential for experiencing the higher life in Christ. Without a divine encounter, we will lack the necessary revelation to rise higher in life and establish dominion. Strategic connections and relationships can also accelerate our progress towards the next level. And finally, humility is crucial for God's grace to lift us up.

Let us seek these keys and apply them in our daily lives as we pursue a deeper relationship with Christ.

SUMMARY

In addition to these three keys mentioned earlier, there is one more important factor that contributes to experiencing the higher life in Christ:

Perseverance

In Hebrews 10:36, it says,

For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise."

Perseverance is necessary because we will face trials and challenges on our journey towards the higher life. But if we remain steadfast in our faith and trust in God's promises, we will receive the reward.

Cultivate A Lifestyle of Worship And Prayer:

In John 4:23-24, Jesus said,

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

By spending time with God in prayer and worship, we can deepen our relationship with Him and experience His presence more fully.

Obedience to God's Word:

In John 14:15, Jesus said,

If ye love me, keep my commandments.

Obedience demonstrates our love for God and opens doors for His blessings to flow into our lives.
Therefore, experiencing the higher life in Christ requires
divine encounter, strategic connection, humility, perseverance, a lifestyle of worship and prayer, and obedience to God's Word.
Let us pursue these keys with diligence as we seek to grow closer to Christ and fulfill His purposes for our lives.
